Safe Melt™ is extracted from the Dead Sea by
the natural evaporation of sea water and a
simple renement process. As a high
performance ice controller, Safe Melt™ is
signicantly safer to use and kinder to our
environment than most common products.
Composed of small, rounded balls, Safe Melt™
is easier on pets’ paws than formulas
composed of jagged, sharp crystals.
Safe Melt™ works fast to melt ice on parking
lots, driveways, sidewalks, steps, decks,
balconies, patios, walkways, roadways and
more!
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Apply 2-4 oz. evenly per square yard. Shovel o
resulting slush. Thick accumulations of ice may
require additional applications. For best
results, rst remove all loose snow and slush
from drives, steps and walks. Safe Melt™ is very
eective in reducing ice and snow
accumulations when applied just as snow is
beginning to fall.
NOTE: Flaking or peeling may occur by using
any ice melting product on poor quality or
improperly cured concrete. Use only on
properly formulated and cured concrete that is
more than one year old. Not recommended for
brick or agstone walkways with mortar joints.
This product can adversely aect leather shoes
and gloves.

FIRST AID: If in Eyes: Hold eye open and
rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20
minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present,
after the rst 5 minutes, then continue
rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or
doctor for treatment advice. If on Skin:
Rinse skin with plenty of water. Wash
clothing before reuse. Get medical attention
if irritation persists. If Inhaled: Remove
aected person to fresh air. If person is not
breathing, call 911 or an ambulance, then
give articial respiration, preferably
mouth-to-mouth if possible. Call a poison
control center or doctor for further treatment
advice. If Swallowed: Rinse mouth with
water. Get medical attention if large
quantities are swallowed.
This container is sold by weight NOT by volume.
You can be assured of the proper weight even
though some settling of contents normally
occurs during transportation and handling.
