Assembly 1 Pouring Sand and Water into the Bases Open the side bases (J) and the middle bases (K) in the counterclockwise direction. Pour sand and water totally need 264.55 lbs /120 kg into the side bases (J) and the middle bases (K) for proper stability of the umbrella. Close the side bases (J) and the middle bases (K) in the clockwise direction. NOTE: ① Place the base in the area where the umbrella to be used. The umbrella will be very heavy after filled with sand and water.
Assembly (continued) 3 Attaching the Base Tube to the Turn Plate Attach the pedal tube (I) to the turn plate (G) using M6x10 bolt (AA) and hex wrench S5 (FF). Attach the upper bracket (B) onto the lower bracket (A). Attach the turn plate (G) to the brackets (A & B) using M10x30 combination bolts (DD) and hex wrench S8 (EE). Attach the base tube (C) to the turn plate (G) using M10x25 combination bolts (CC) and hex wrench S8 (EE).
Assembly (continued) 5 Attaching the Side Bases to the Brackets Attach the side bases (J) onto the brackets (A & B). J J the Lower Base Cover, the Upper Base and The Lower Umberlla Pole 6 Inserting Into The Base Tube, Connecting the Pedal to the Pedal Tube Insert the lower base cover (M) and the upper base cover (L) into the base tube (C), as shown below. Insert the lower umbrella pole (E) into the base tube (C).
Assembly (continued) 7 Attaching the Solar Receiver Attach the solar receiver (N) to the umbrella shade (F) by turning the solar receiver (N) clockwise until fully tightened. NOTE: Please leave the solar receiver (N) out in a sunny area to charge before the first time turning on the LED lights. ① N ② F 8 Inserting the umbrella Shade Into the Base Tube Insert the umbrella shade (F) into the base tube (C) using M6x20 bolt (BB) and hex wrench S5 (FF). Fully tighten all the bolts at this step.
Operation 1 Raising the Umbrella Loosen the knob on the umbrella shade (F) by turning it in the counterclockwise direction. Hold the umbrella handle and push the umbrella shade upward to the desired position. Once the umbrella is at the desired position, fully tighten the knob on the umbrella shade by turning it in the clockwise direction. ② ① 1 2 2 Opening the Umbrella Attach the crank (D) to the umbrella shade (F).
Operation (continued) 3 Turn the LED Light On and Off Press the ON/OFF switch to turn the LED light on and off. ON-OFF 4 Rotating the Umbrella Hold the pedal (H) with one foot and rotate the umbrella pole (the umbrella can rotate up to 360 degrees).
Operation (continued) 5 Closing the Umbrella Loosen the knob on the umbrella shade (F) by turning it in the counterclockwise direction. Operation (continued) 7 Tying the Umbrella to the Umbrella Pole Tie the umbrella to the umbrella pole with the velcro belt when not in use, as shown below. Care and Cleaning For best results, clean the umbrella with damp cloth and dry thoroughly. This will help prevent mildew by removing dirt particles that may accumulate. Do not clean with abrasive materials, bleach, or solvents. Store the umbrella in a dry, sheltered place when not in use.
