Remove the preassembled cover screws from the

Do not remove the screws completely.

Align holes in the mounting plate with the holes in the outlet box.
Secure the mounting plate to the outlet box with the machine
screws (BB).

Installing the power supply to the track section

Wrap electrical tape (not included) around the wire
connectors (AA), and ensure they are secure.
Push all excess wire and wire connections back
into the outlet box.

Attach the ground wire from the outlet box to the ground
wire on the mounting bracket.

Place the linear track section (not included) in the desired location
on the mounting plate between the two track mounting screws.
Mark the location of the track on the ceiling with a pencil
(not included). Proceed with track installation as described
in the linear track instruction manual.
Tighten the track mounting screws to secure the linear
track section to the mounting plate.

Twist the power supply (A) into the track section. Secure the
cover to the mounting plate by tightening the cover screws.

IMPORTANT: For use with Hampton Bay
EC series line voltage track systems only.
NOTE: When the power supply (A) is twisted into position
on the linear track section, make sure the two copper tabs
on the side of the power supply (A) align with the two copper
strips inside the linear track section. This is necessary to
maintain polarity.
