Alligator Guardrail System
Compatible with OSHA 1910 and OSHA 1926 Subpart M regulations.
Suitable for use in Pitched and Barrel Roof, Flush Mount Roof,
Parapet Wall, and Gusset installation applications. Refer to
instructions for application-specific installation procedures.
Maximum spacing between guardrail post receivers is 8’.
Substrate Limitations:
• Alligator Guardrail System may only be installed on roofs with pitches of flat, 3/12, 6/12, and 9/12.
NEVER use on surfaces with pitches greater than 9/12.
• Wood substrate MUST be 1/2” CDX or better. Metal substrate MUST be 24 gauge or better.
• Parapets MUST be between 2” - 16” in width, and a minimum 7” in height.
Guardrails:
Compatible with Adjustable Snap-On Metal
Guardrails (part #s: 61074 & 61075), or 2” x 4”
construction grade lumber or better. Refer to
instructions for guardrail installation.
Alligator Guardrail Systems may be used in Fall Prevention
applications ONLY. Fall Prevention Systems are placed around
the leading edges of any and all fall hazards to prevent a
worker from going over an edge, and may be used in
substitute of Fall Protection or safety netting systems.
Installation requirements for Alligator Guardrail Systems set
forth in equipment instructions MUST be adhered to. Personal
Fall Arrest, Work Positioning, Climbing, Rescue, and any other
systems must NEVER be connected to Fall Prevention Systems.
Surfaces more than 6’ above lower levels require the use
of a Fall Prevention or Fall Protection system.
