GENERAL INFORMATION ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Operating Environment: 14 to 104 deg F (-10 to 40 deg C). 20-85% relative humidity, non-condensing. The camera is designed to be weather resistant. Never attempt to immerse the unit in water or any other liquid. This will damage the unit and void the warranty. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard, or rechargeable batteries. Use a soft lens cloth for cleaning lens.
SWITCH / BUTTON FUNCTIONS 3 Position Switch ! ! ! OFF position: The unit will be OFF when the switch is in this position. ON position: The unit is now ON, defaults to Qset1 on first power up. After each time the camera is turned ON, the unit will remember the previous mode and settings. TEST position: This position is to test the PIR sensor.
ON-‐SCREEN DISPLAY ICONS Quick Sets (QSET) While in any Quick Set Mode, the LCD screen will display the Qset that the camera is currently set to in the top left corner. CAMERA SETUP Setup Date: Set the Date for the camera. ! The default date is 01/01/19 Setup Time: Set the Time for the camera. ! The default time is 12:00AM Time Zone: Set the Time Zone where you’re using the camera. ! Eastern ! Central (Default) ! Mountain ! Pacific ! Alaskan ! Hawaiian Time Format: Set whether the time will be kept using a 12 Hour format or 24 Hour format.

Time Lapse: Camera takes a still image per preset time. o Time Lapse Settings are: Photo Resolution, PIR Delay, Time Lapse Delay, Time Lapse Start, Time Lapse Stop, Blur Reduction, Camera Name, Temperature, Information Bar, Latitude, Longitude, Factory Reset, Security Key, Format SD Card, Software Upgrade. o Time Lapse Photos will be marked with “TL” in the Information Bar.

CAMERA SETUP (cont.) ! Reduce Blur (Default – Advanced) o PROGRESSIVE – This setting will use a maximum exposure time of 1/125sec for the night photos. Other adjustments are made to increase the brightness and clarity of the photo. o ADVANCED – This setting will use a maximum exposure time of 1/40sec for the night photos. o STANDARD – This setting will use a maximum exposure time of 1/15sec for the night photos.

Time Lapse Delay – to set the delay between photos. o Will display as “TL DELAY” in Camera Setup. o The camera will take PIR photos during the Time Lapse Session when the Time Lapse Delay is set to 60 seconds or greater. o The Time Lapse range is from 5 seconds to 59 minutes and 59 seconds. o The default Time Lapse Setting is 30 seconds.

Video Resolution (Default – 1280x720) o 1920 x 1080 o 1280 x 720 NOTE: If Wireless Modem is set to ON, then the PIR Video mode has special settings. ! 320x176 ! Video Length (Default - 10 sec) o Set the video length from 10 to 180 seconds in 5-second increments. o Motion Active Video (MAV) - This is a dynamic video length setting monitoring the PIR triggers.
CAMERA SETUP (cont.) ! Temperature (Default – Fahrenheit) o The temperature is imprinted on each photo in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. ! Information Bar (Default – ON) o The Stealth Cam logo, Time, Date, Temperature Moon Phase, and Camera Name are imprinted on the bottom of each picture.

Latitude: This function will allow the user to manually set the latitude coordinates for the camera. o The default coordinates will be 000.000000 N, this number can be set to 000.000000 -‐ 179.999999 N or S. ! Longitude: This function will allow the user to manually set the longitude coordinates for the camera. o The default coordinates will be 000.000000 E, this number can be set to 000.000000 -‐ 179.
WIRELESS SETUP The camera has the ability to communicate with Bluetooth enabled mobile devices and wireless routers. To set this up the Stealth Cam Remote APP is required. Stealth Cam Remote App for iOS and Android are available for free on the iApple APP Store and Google Play Store. IMPORTANT: You must download the Stealth Cam Remote APP and Setup an Account prior to moving forward with the following wireless setup.
WIRELESS SETUP (cont.) ! FIELD • • • • ! Ensure Mobile Device Bluetooth is turn ON. Go to the Mobile Device Wi-Fi Settings and join the Camera's Wi-Fi Router (FLX Camera_XXXXX), then return to the Stealth Cam Remote APP and the Camera will automatically be detected. Click Continue to proceed to the next step. Create a Password (optional) - If you plan on connecting multiple devices to this camera you will need to setup a password to your Camera's Wi-Fi Router.
WIRELESS SETTINGS ! ! ! ! ! ! Wireless Setup: The Wireless Setup enables the binding of FIELD or LOCAL NETWORK mode. Select Start to begin. Wireless Mode: This screen shows the mode in which the camera is currently configured (FIELD or LOCAL NETWORK). This screen in not editable, to change the modes the Wireless Setup must be used. App Account (LOCAL NETWORK Only): The camera will display the current APP Account User Name.
WIRELESS SETTINGS (cont.) ! Upload Time (LOCAL NETWORK Only): This time determines when the camera uploads any new photos or videos to the APP. For example, if the Upload Time is 3:30pm and the camera is set to Twice per day, then the camera will transmit photos at 3:30pm and 3:30am every day. ! Date & Time Sync: This setting allows the camera to automatically set the Date and Time.
Using Your Camera in FIELD mode ! FIELD • • • • • Bring Mobile device with the APP open within Bluetooth Range (50 feet) of the Stealth Cam FLX Camera. (Mobile device Bluetooth must be turned on) Once the Stealth Cam Camera is in range, the in range cameras go from gray to color on the camera screen within the APP and it also shows the BT Signal Strength. Once selected the camera will automatically aturn on its on board Wi-Fi Router. Your mobile device will automatically connect to the Wi-Fi Router.
MEMORY CARD INSTALLATION To insert the SD memory card into the camera: first locate the SD card slot on the right hand side of the of the camera case. Next with the SD card label facing towards the front of the camera, insert the SD card. When the card has been pressed in fully there will be a noticeable resistance as the spring locking mechanism activates to hold on the SD card.
FORMATTING SD CARD It always best to format your SD cards from the actual device you are using, in this case the camera. This will allow the camera to format the card in the proper fashion. 1. Insert SD card into the camera. 2. Turn the camera power ON. 3. Press the MENU button. 4. Navigate to “Camera Settings”. Press ENTER. 5. Navigate to "Format Card". Press ENTER. 6. Navigate to "Yes". Press ENTER. 7.
BATTERY REMOVAL & INSTALLATION To remove the batteries from the unit; open the case and press the EJECT button on the lower right hand corner. This will cause the battery tray to be released and slide downwards. New, Alkaline or Lithium, ‘AA’ batteries must be inserted with the orientation as shown on the tray.

CONFIGURATION SANS FILS La caméra peut communiquer avec des périphériques mobiles et des routeurs sans fil compatibles Bluetooth. Pour configurer cela, l'application Stealth Cam Remote est requise. L'application Stealth Cam Remote pour iOS et Android est disponible gratuitement sur l'App Store d'iApple et le Google Play Store. IMPORTANT: vous devez télécharger l'application Stealth Cam Remote et configurer un compte avant de poursuivre avec la configuration sans fil suivante.
CONFIGURATION SANS FIL (suite) ! ! FIELD • • Assurez-vous que Bluetooth du périphérique mobile est activé. Accédez aux paramètres Wi-Fi du périphérique mobile et rejoignez le routeur Wi-Fi de la caméra (FLX Camera_XXXXX), puis revenez à l'application Stealth Cam Remote et la caméra sera automatiquement détectée. Cliquez sur Continuer pour passer à l'étape suivante.
PARAMÈTRES SANS FIL ! ! ! ! ! ! Configuration sans fil: La configuration sans fil permet de lier le mode FIELD ou LOCAL NETWORK. Sélectionnez Démarrer pour commencer. Mode sans fil: Cet écran affiche le mode dans lequel la caméra est actuellement configurée (réseau ou réseau local). Cet écran n’est pas éditable, pour changer les modes, la configuration sans fil doit être utilisée. Compte app (réseau local uniquement): la caméra affiche le nom d'utilisateur du compte APP actuel.
PARAMÈTRES SANS FIL (suite) ! ! ! Heure de téléchargement (réseau local uniquement): Cette heure détermine le moment où l'appareil photo télécharge de nouvelles photos ou vidéos sur l'application. Par exemple, si l'heure de téléchargement est 15h30 et que l'appareil photo est réglé sur Deux fois par jour, il transmettra les photos à 15h30 et à 3h30 chaque jour. Synchronisation date et heure: Ce paramètre permet à l'appareil photo de régler automatiquement la date et l'heure.
Utilisation de votre appareil photo en mode FIELD ! FIELD • • • • • Amenez l'appareil mobile avec l'application ouverte dans la portée Bluetooth (50 pieds) de la caméra Stealth Cam FLX.(Le périphérique mobile Bluetooth doit être activé) Une fois que la caméra Stealth Cam est à portée, les caméras à proximité passent du gris à la couleur sur l'écran de la caméra dans l'application et affichent également l'intensité du signal BT.
CARTE MÉMOIRE INSTALLATION Pour insérer la carte mémoire SD dans l'appareil: localisez la fente de la carte SD sur le côté droit du boîtier de l'appareil photo. Ensuite, avec l'étiquette de la carte SD orientée vers l'avant de l'appareil photo, insérez la carte SD.
FOMATAGE DE LA CARTE SD Il est toujours mieux de formater vos cartes SD à partir de l'appareil actuel que vous utilisez, dans ce cas l'appareil photo. Ce qui permettra à l'appareil photo de formater la carte dans le mode approprié. 1. Insérez la carte SD dans l'appareil photo. 2. Mettez l'appareil photo. 3. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU. 4. Accédez à "Paramètres avancés". Appuyez sur ENTER. 5. Accédez à "Formater la carte".
INSTALLATION ET RETRAIT DE LA PILE Pour retirer les piles de l'appareil, ouvrez le boîtier et appuyez sur le bouton ÉJECTION situé dans le coin inférieur droit. Ce qui permettra de glisser et de retirer le Compartiment à piles. De nouvelles piles, alcalines ou au lithium, de type 'AA' doivent être insérées en respectant l'orientation indiquée sur le compartiment.
