Home Automation Power Plug
PS210/PS210P
The PS210/PS210P is a smart, controllable power plug for your home’s
electrical devices. PS210P includes the Energy Meter capability. Together
with Controller, PS App (mobile Smartphone /Tablet), and all PS devices
(switches, power plugs, dimmers, and sensors), the PS system provides you
with the capability to control your home’s electrical devices remotely from
anywhere in the world for home automation.
WARINGS AND CAUTIONS
PS210/PS210P is intended to be used as an indoor home power plug ; it
should never be used for medical and/or life support equipment
The operation and activation of PS210/PS210P can be controlled
remotely in a different place, or by automatic programmed control.
As the control may be intentional or unintentional due to programming,
wrong button pressed, the result of the operation could be undesirable,
unexpected, or even hazardous. Please exercise caution.
If you are unsure or uncomfortable about performing the installation,
please consult a qualified electrician.
Overview & Operation
Toggle Button
Press to toggle the power plugs power on/off manually
Press and hold for 5 seconds to set the power plug to scan mode
Press and hold for 10 seconds to reset the power plug to factory
default setting
LED
Green and Orange Flashing alternatively => In scan mode
Green and Orange steady on => Power is off and it is without ID
Green steady on => Power is off and it is connected to the
controller
Orange steady on => Power is off and it lost connection to the
controller
Green and Orange off => Power is on
Installation
1. No installation is required; just plug PS210P/PS210 into the existing wall
power outlet.
2. Test the PS210/PS210P by plugging a home electrical device (e.g. a lamp)
into PS210/PS210P and verify the following :
Press PS210/PS210P power plugs toggle button to power on, and
then check if the Green and Orange LED are off and the electrical
device is powered on.
Press PS210/PS210P power plugs toggle button again to power off,
and then check if the Green and Orange LED are on and electrical
device is powered off.
Note:
The installation is now complete; you can now add your PS210/PS210P
power plug to Controller, and control it using PS App.
Link PS210/PS210P to the Controller
Download and install the latest PS App to your mobile device, and refer to
the walk through instructions from PS Apps to add your PS210/P210P
power plug to Controller. The main steps are:
Use the PS App, set the Controller into the scan mode.
Press and hold PS210/PS210P power plugs toggle button for 5 seconds
to set it to scan mode.
The pairing process between the Controller and PS210/PS210P power
plug will now take place.
The PS App will show the new device, PS210/PS210P is added.
Control PS210/PS210P using PS App via the Controller.
FCC Statement
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This
equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed
and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a
particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the
user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following
measures:
-- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
-- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
-- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
receiver is connected.
-- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following
two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any
interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance
could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
