Installation Mondo Alto User Guide Connect to a Wireless Network The easiest way to connect to a wireless network is to have the Mondo Alto scan for wireless networks, and then choose your wireless network from the list of wireless networks. The Mondo Alto will automatically display the strongest Wi-Fi network at the top of the list. However, if your wireless network name (SSID) is hidden, or if your network is DHCP disabled, you’ll have to manually enter the network settings.
Installation Mondo Alto User Guide Manually Connecting to a Wireless Network (Optional) To manually connect to a wireless network, you’ll need to know the SSID (wireless network name), password, and type of encryption, and also may need additional information about your wireless network if it is not DHCP enabled: SSID (wireless network name) Password Encryption (None, WPA-PSK) IP (Address for the Mondo Alto) Mask (Network Mask IP Address) Gateway (Gateway IP Address) DNS (Primary Name Server IP Address)

Audio Sources Mondo Alto User Guide In addition to being able to play music via Chromecast-enabled apps, you can also play music via Bluetooth, USB drives, UPnP media players, the aux in jack, as well as the music services directly on the radio. To play a music service on the radio, you can select the appropriate music service or Grace Digital radio service by using the front panel controls, the infra-red remote control, or the free Android or iPhone apps.

To play the same audio (other than Chromecast built-in audio) on multiple Mondo Alto internet radios in your home or office you can create groups using the free Grace Controller apps for Android or iPhone. Alarm Clock: The Mondo Alto has seven alarm clocks, each of which can be configured differently. Refer to “Setting Alarm Clock” for information about the alarm clock. Timezone: This option sets the Mondo Alto to the timezone for your area. The radio will automatically adjust for daylight saving time.

Advanced Features Mondo Alto User Guide In Deep Sleep mode all functions are disabled including the alarm, remote, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Bluetooth connections. This reduces power consumption and is especially helpful when utilizing the Optional battery (sold separately). Since all operations are turned off you will not be able to see the radio on your network or turn it back on with the infrared remote control. For typical daily use Deep Sleep mode is not suggested or needed.
