The digital inputs include USB-A and USB-B, TOS, COAX, AES/EBU, and Ethernet. On the DS-10 PLUS, a 3.5mm mini-jack is also available as an analog input to connect a source such as the PH-10. The PSU IN input is dedicated to the external power supply PSU-10 EVO to enhance the performance of your DS-10.

| NETWORK SETUP EN DE LAN CONNECTION IT DS-10 supports both LAN and Wi-Fi connection. To use the LAN simply plug the cable into the Ethernet port on the rear panel and you are ready to go. | CHAMELEON MODE EN DE THE CHAMELEON DAC ACCESS THE PRESET MENU The Chameleon mode is a special feature designed to let you fine-tune the behaviour of the DAC. Acting on three parameters, you can test 192 different setups, adapting the DS-10 to your music and stereo system with the highest degree of customisation. These parameters are Equalisation Curve, Deemphasis Curve and DAC Power - and your choices are stored into the memory of the DS-10 using the presets.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR LISTENING | By rotary knob: turn the knob to browse the menu, push the knob to select a parameter. When the selected parameter turns grey it can be changed turning the knob to increase or decrease its value. Press the knob to confirm the selected value. Repeat this operation for all parameters. Select the word OK and press the knob to save the changes. Select the word CANCEL and press the knob to undo the changes and return to the main screen.
| CHAMELEON PARAMETERS EN DE The DEE and the DAC PWR have more subtle effects on the sound but can make quite a difference in some systems. We recommend to start with the PCM EQ parameter to fine tune the DAC, then adjust the DEE and lastly the DAC PWR. | CONNECTING OTHER SOURCES CONNECTING SOURCES On the DS-10 PLUS, the 3.5mm LINE IN input can be used to connect analogue sources, such as the PH-10 phono stage. | CONTROL APP EN DE DOWNLOAD THE APP IT Our app GN Control is the best way to control your DS-10 and it’s required to connect it to your Wi-Fi. It is also the easiest way to stream music from online streaming services such a Tidal and Qobuz, and from your local libraries in case you store music on a NAS or HDD. PLAY TO & MUSIC First, select the DS-10 from the Play To screen. If you don’t see the DS-10 listed, then the device you are using and the DS-10 are not connected to the same network. MUSIC Tap Music from the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen to select your music source.
EN DE CONTROL PANEL IT Tap the information icon found at the top right corner of the Player screen to access the control panel. The control panel mirrors what you see on the display of your DS-10, allowing you to access all the features and functions, including the volume, the input selection, the gapless function and more.
DEVICE SETUP Tap the setup icon found at the top left corner of the Player screen and then Device Setup to access device setup menu. Here you can change the name of the DS-10 (as shown on other connected devices), the Wi-Fi, see the firmware version and check for new firmware updates. WiFi network Connect the device to a different Wi-Fi network. Device name change Rename the device on the network. LAN IP LAN static IP address setup. Wi-Fi IP Wi-Fi static IP address setup.
| REMOTE CONTROL EN DE USING THE REMOTE CONTROL press the Enter key to activate the selection frame and the IN+ and IN- buttons to move the frame around the display. All the functions and features available on the DS-10 can be adjusted using the SKC and the remote. To use the remote, simply Power ON/OFF Use POWER ON/OFF to turn ON and OFF the DS-10. Enter Activates the SELECTION FRAME and selects the functions, just like you would do by pressing the knob.

| TROUBLESHOOTING EN DE PROBLEM The GN remote control doesn’t control the DS-10. The App can’t find the DS-10 in the network. CAUSE SOLUTION | The GN remote control can be used to control more than one unit. To control each unit the correct mode must be selected on the remote. | Select DAC mode on the remote. | The DS-10 is not connected to the network. | Make sure the DS-10 is connected to the WLAN or LAN either with the Ethernet cable or the Wi-Fi.
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION The DS-10 does not connect to the Wi-Fi. | The network setup didn’t work or the DS-10 is connected to the wrong Wi-Fi network. | Repeat the network setup either in WPS or Wi-Fi APP mode, ensuring that the DS-10 is actually connecting to the correct Wi-Fi. Please see pages 8 and 9 of this manual for more info. The DS-10 is connected to my Wi-Fi but the App and Roon can’t find it.

Mit dem Einwirken auf 3 Parameter können 192 verschiedene Einstellungsoptionen getestet werden, um den DS-10 mit dem höchsten Grad an Personalisierung an Ihre Musik und Ihr System anzupassen.
MASSGESCHNEIDERTES HÖRERLEBNIS CANCEL auswählen, um die Anpassungen zu verwerfen und zum Hauptmenü zurück zu kehren. | Mit der Fernbedienung: die Pfeiltasten links und rechts verwenden, um das Menü zu durchsuchen, die ENTER-Taste drücken, um einen Parameter auszuwählen. Wenn der aktivierte Parameter grau wird, kann er angepasst werden: die Pfeiltasten verwenden, um die Werte anzuheben oder zu senken. Die ENTERTaste drücken, um den ausgewählten Wert zu bestätigen.

| ANSCHLUSS ANDERER QUELLEN QUELLEN VERBINDEN Auf dem DS-10 PLUS kann über den 3,5mm LINE IN Eingang eine analoge Quelle angeschlossen werden, zum Beispiel die PH10 Phono-Vorstufe. Dank der Vielzahl an hochwertigen Verbindungsstecker auf der Rückseite des DS-10, können andere digitale Geräte angeschlossen werden, die den Wandler zum Herzstück einer modernen Anlage machen.

PLAY TO & MUSIK Zuerst den DS-10 aus der Play To Ansicht auswählen. Falls der DS-10 nicht angezeigt wird, sind Ihr Mobilgerät und der DS-10 nicht mit demselben Netzwerk verbunden. MUSIK Wählen Sie Music aus der Navigationsleiste in der unteren Hälfte des Bildschirms, um Ihre Wiedergabequelle zu wählen.
EN DE BEDIENFELD IT Das Symbol Information in der rechten oberen Ecke des Player-Bildschirms auswählen, um das Bedienfeld zu öffnen. Das Bedienfeld wiederholt den Bildschirm des DS-10 und bietet Ihnen somit Zugriff auf alle Merkmale und Funktionen, inklusive Lautstärkeregelung, Auswahl des Eingangs, unterbrechungsfreie Wiedergabe, u.v.m.
GERÄTE-KONFIGURATION Wählen Sie das Symbol auf der oberen linken Seite des Player-Bildschirms und dann Geräte-Setup, um das Konfigurationsmenü zu betreten. Hier können Sie den DS-10 umbenennen (Anzeige auf anderen verbundenen Geräten), Wi-Fi wechseln, sehen Sie sich die FirmwareVersion an und suchen Sie nach neuen Firmware-Updates. | CONFIGURAZIONE RETE EN DE CONNESSIONE LAN IT DS-10 supporta sia la connessione LAN che quella Wi-Fi. Per utilizzare la connessione LAN inserire il cavo nella porta Ethernet posta sul pannello posteriore. CONNESSIONE WIFI La modalità Wi-Fi si attiva automaticamente quando il cavo Ethernet non è inserito. Guarda il video tutorial per capire come connettere DS-10 alla tua WiFi. Il led blu di stato del Wi-Fi lampeggia costantemente per indicare che il DS-10 è pronto per essere associato alla rete.

| CARATTERISTICHE E FUNZIONI EN DE PANORAMICA DEL DISPLAY Grazie alla manopola e al display , tutte le funzioni di DS-10 possono essere regolate durante l’utilizzo. Il livello del volume viene mostrato al centro del display con le altre funzioni sopra e sotto. Nell’immagine sottostante sono dettagliatamente esposte le opzioni disponibili per ogni funzione.
COME USARE IL DS-10 SELEZIONE DELLE USCITE il segnale audio utilizza l’uscita fissa della sorgente, servirà quindi uno stadio di preamplificazione esterna per regolare il volume. Quando la modalità DAC viene selezionata appare un messaggio di attenzione che deve essere accettato per procedere all’utilizzo. È importante prestare sempre la massima attenzione quando si passa alla modalità DAC al fine di evitare danni ai diffusori.
| MODALITÀ CAMALEONTE EN DE IL DAC CAMALEONTICO ACCESSO AL MENÙ PRESET La modalità Camaleonte è una caratteristica unicamente progettata per mettere a punto il comportamente del DAC. Agendo direttamente su 3 parametri è possibile sperimentare 192 differenti regolazioni, adattando il DS-10 alla musica e all’impianto con i più ampi spettri di personalizzazione.
PERSONALIZZA IL TUO ASCOLTO | Tramite manopola: ruotare la manopola per navigare nel menu e premerla per selezionare un parametro scelto. Quando il parametro diventa grigio è possibile modificarlo ruotando la manopola per aumentare o diminuire il suo valore. Premere la manopola per confermare il valore scelto. Ripetere questa operazione per tutti i parametri. Selezionare la scritta OK e premere la manopola per salvare le modifiche.
| PARAMETRI CAMALEONTE EN DE Il DEE e il DAC PWR influiscono più lievemente sul suono ma possono fare la differenza in alcuni sistemi. Si consiglia di iniziare dal parametro PCM EQ per mettere a punto il DAC, per poi regolare il DEE e infine il DAC PWR. I parametri camaleonte sono: | DAC PWR DAC Power (la corrente applicata al chip) | PCM EQ Curve di equalizzazione (filtro passa basso) 8 opzioni disponibili, da 0 a 7. Quando il valore impostato è 0, il chip viene alimentato di default con 34 mA.
| CONNETTERE ALTRE SORGENTI CONNETTERE LE SORGENTI I connettori di alta qualità disponibili sul pannello posteriore di DS-10 permettono il collegamento di altri dispositivi, rendendolo il centro di un sistema audio moderno. | CONTROLLO VIA APP EN DE SCARICA GN CONTROL IT La nostra app GN Control è la miglior soluzione per controllare il DS-10 ed è necessaria se vuoi connetterlo alla rete Wi-Fi. È anche il modo più rapido per riprodurre la musica dai servizi online di streaming come Tidal e Qobuz, e dalla libreria locale in caso si usi un NAS o un HDD. App Store Google Play Store Guarda il video tutorial per imparare ad ascoltare musica in streaming, gestire le playlist e controllare il tuo DS-10 tramite l’app.
PLAY TO E MUSIC Per prima cosa, selezionare DS-10 sulla schermata Play To. Se non vedi il DS-10 nell’elenco, il dispositivo che stai utilizzando e il DS-10 non sono connessi alla stessa rete. MUSIC Clicca Music dal menù di navigazione nella parte bassa dello schermo per selezionare la sorgente audio.
EN DE PANNELLO DI CONTROLLO IT Cliccando sull’icona delle informazioni nell’angolo in alto a destra della schermata di riproduzione, si accede al pannello di controllo. Il pannello di controllo duplica lo schermo di DS-10 sullo smartphone, permettendo l’accesso a tutte le caratteristiche e le funzioni, inclusi il volume, la selezione dell’ingresso, la funzione gapless e altro.
CONFIGURAZIONE DEL DISPOSITIVO Cliccando sull’icona delle impostazioni nell’angolo in alto a sinistra della schermata di riproduzione e successivamente cliccando su Device Setup, si accede al menù di configurazione del dispositivo. Qui è possibile cambiare il nome del DS-10 (mostrato sui dispositivi collegati), il Wi-Fi, vedere la versione del firmware e controllare se ci sono aggiornamenti disponibili. WiFi network Connetti l’unità a un’altra rete Wi-Fi disponibile.
| TELECOMANDO EN DE UTILIZZO DEL TELECOMANDO basta premere il tasto Enter per arrivare il riquadro di selezione e i tasti IN+ e IN- per spostaere il riquadro all’interno del display. Tutte le funzioni e le caratteristiche disponibili su DS-10 possono essere modificate utilizzando il Knob Control e il telecomando. Per usare il telecomando, Power ON/OFF Utilizzare POWER ON/OFF per accendere e spegnere DS-10. Enter Attivare SELECTION FRAME e selezionare le funzioni visibili sul display.

| RISOLUZIONE PROBLEMI EN DE PROBLEMA Il telecomando non controlla il DS-10. L’App non trova il DS-10 tra le reti disponibili. CAUSA SOLUZIONE | Il telecomando GN può essere utilizzato per controllare diverse unità. Per controllare una precisa unità occorre selezionare la modalità corretta sul telecomando. | Selezionare la modalità DAC sul telecomando. | Il DS-10 non è connesso alla rete. | Assicurarsi che il DS-10 sia connesso alla WLAN o LAN tramite il cavo Ethernet o Wi-Fi.
PROBLEMA CAUSA SOLUZIONE Il DS-10 non si connette alla rete Wi-Fi. | La configurazione della rete non ha funzionato o il DS-10 è connesso alla rete Wi-Fi sbagliata. Ripeti la configurazione della rete in modalità WPS o Wi-Fi APP, assicurandoti che il DS-10 sia effettivamente connesso al Wi-Fi corretto. Si prega di consultare le pagine 68 e 69 di questo manuale per maggiori informazioni. Il DS-10 è connesso alla mia Wi-Fi ma l’App e Roon non riescono a trovarlo.
