DESCRIPTION
GenTite Seam Cleaner is to be used on all Rubber Roofing (Black), Rubber Roofing (White), and TPO
Roofing applications prior to application of Seam Adhesive or Peel & Stick Seam Tape.
INSTALLATION
Refer to current GenTite Application Instructions for additional application instructions.
1. Apply liberal amounts of Seam Cleaner to clean rag.
2. Using a scrubbing motion, remove all contaminants at least 2” (50 mm) each way from the area to
be spliced.
3. Remove all visible contaminants and maintain surfaces free from all moisture, oil, and other
contaminants.
4. Change rags frequently to avoid depositing previously removed materials.
5. Allow the cleaned membrane to dry completely before continuing seaming procedures.

STORAGE
Store indoors in original unopened containers at a temperature between 60 ºF and 80 ºF (16 ºC and
27 ºC) for maximum shelf life. Do not store on roof in direct sunlight. When exposed to lower
temperatures, restore to room temperature prior to use.
SHELFLIFE
12 months; shelf life will be shortened if exposed to elevated temperatures.
PRECAUTIONARYDATA
• This product is extremely flammable. Vapors may cause flash fires. Vapors may ignite
explosively under certain conditions. Keep away from fire, sparks, and sources of heat.
Extinguish all flames and pilot lights. Turn off electronic motors, stoves, or heaters, or any source
of ignition during use and until all vapors have been dispersed. Do not smoke.
• Open all doors and windows.
• Close containers after use.
• Use with adequate ventilation.
• Avoid prolonged breathing of vapors.
• Avoid prolonged and repeated contact with skin.
• Store at temperature of 80 °F (27 °C) or below for maximum shelf life.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Keep away from eyes.
