200018 User’s Guide Draft The PRO18 features a built-in battery charging circuit that will charge Ni-Cad and Ni-MH batteries. The charger provides a slow rate charge that will fully charge a set of typical Ni-MH AA batteries in approximately 16 hours. The charger is active when the radio is connected to an external USB power source and the radio is powered off. When connected to an external USB power source and powered on, the radio operates using the external power source but does not charge the batteries.
