It is normal for water to accumulate in the compartment due to differences in temperature and vegetable moisture content. Vegetables should be stored in plastic or paper wrappings to prevent water accumulation.
UTILIZING THE INTERIOR SPACE (continued) CHILLING/VEGETABLE COMPARTMENT For use as a vegetable compartment, set lever to the upper position. Cold air from the freezer compartment will not circulate into this compartment and vegetables can be stored. For use as a chilling compartment, set lever to the lower position. Cold air will circulate from the freezer compartment and will be suitable for storing food at a lower temperature.
UTILIZING THE INTERIOR SPACE (continued) 7 QUICK-SERVE SHELF WITH SERVING DISHES The 4 serving dishes with transparent lids are part of the quick-serve shelf and can be used to store cooked foods directly in the refrigerator or freezer compartment.
