You will need to modify them for other types of windows. ■ The air conditioner can be installed without 127⁄8″ min. ■ All supporting parts must be secured to firm 22″ to 36″ (With accordion panels) wood, masonry or metal. ■ The electrical outlet must be within reach of the power cord.
A Remove the backing from the top mounting rail seal strip and attach it to the bottom of the top mounting rail. C Loosen the lower screw on each side of the case and hook a security bracket on each side. Tighten the screws to secure the brackets in place. B Install the top mounting rail with 3 type A screws from the outside of the case. 4 Install the Air Conditioner in the Window A Cut the window sash seal to the window width and stick the adhesive side to the bottom of the sash. C Extend the left and right accordion panels to the vertical window sashes and attach with 4 type B screws. Attach the top mounting rail to the sash with a type B screw. B Place the bottom inner case gasket between the bottom of the air conditioner and the inside bottom of the case. Fold up the ends on both sides and push them in. C Attach the front grille to the case by inserting the tabs on the grille into the slots on the front of the case. Push the grille in until it snaps into place.

Remove packing cardboard and tape if present. 5 Prepare the Case A Remove the backing from the top mounting rail seal strip and attach it to the bottom of the top mounting rail. B Install the top mounting rail with 8 type A screws from the inside of the case.
A Cut the window sash seal to the window width and stick the adhesive side to the bottom of the sash. B Mark the centerline of the stool. Measure and mark the locations for the support assemblies 123⁄8″ from both sides of the centerline. 123⁄8″ Stool Place, Assemble, and Install the Support Brackets A Determine the position that the V-support will be placed within the support rail by placing the support rail against the back edge of the stool.

Center the case and lower the window behind the top mounting rail. The case should be slightly tilted to the outside.
