Safety Instructions Care and cleaning of the air conditioner. Air Filter The air filter behind the front grille should be checked and cleaned at least every 30 days or more often if necessary. Clean the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse and let the filter dry before replacing it. To remove (on some models): Open the inlet grille downward by pulling out the upper corners of the inlet grille. Using the tab, push down on the filter to release it and pull it out.

Installation Instructions 1 WINDOW REQUIREMENTS 3 PREPARE THE WINDOW • These instructions are for a standard double-hung window. You will need to modify them for other types of windows. • The air conditioner can be installed without the accordion panels if needed to fit in a narrow window. See the window opening dimensions. • All supporting parts must be secured to firm wood, masonry or metal. • The electrical outlet must be within reach of the power cord.
Installation Instructions 4 INSTALL THE SIDE ACCORDION 5 INSTALL THE AIR CONDITIONER PANELS IN THE WINDOW A Slide the left and right accordion panels into the top and bottom mounting rails. A Center the air conditioner in the window with the bottom mounting rail between the window stool and the support brackets. B Attach the accordion panels to the case using 4 Type B screws on each side.
Installation Instructions 6 INSTALL THE SECURITY BRACKET 7 INSTALL A SUPPORT BRACKET A Remove the lower front right corner screw from the side of the case and replace through the security bracket. AND THE FOAM TOP WINDOW GASKET A Attach a support bracket with a Type B screw. B Attach the security bracket to the stool using a Type A screw. B Cut the foam top window gasket to the window width. C Stuff the foam between the glass and the window to prevent air and insects from getting into the room.

B Una los paneles de acordeón a la caja usando 4 tornillos tipos B en cada lado.

A Pegue un soporte con un tornillo tipo B. B Una el soporte a la repisa usando un tornillo tipo A. B Corte la parte superior de la espuma de la junta al ancho de la ventana.
