Installation guide Free Star.21 APP This app can support the system and mobiles as below , a. FOR IOS iPhone 4S and above iPod TOUCH 5 GEN and above iPad 3 GEN and abo e iPad MINI b. FOR ANDROID （Available after JUNE,2014） NEXUS 4 and 5 GALAXY S4 and above GALAYXY NOTE3 and above 2. HOW TO START? a. Install the Star.21 ,after downloading “STAR.21” on the APP Store or Goog le Play (Ava lable after JUNE,2014) APP ICON b.
2） Connecting Turn on your Bluetooth 4.0 function on your mobile phone. Launch the app and follow the instructions on screen to connect to the Star Band. Next, tap on the connecting icon to discover the Star Band (e.g. HB1001‐E30DC), then select to connect t o it. Once connected successfully, the icon in the app will flash as in PIC 2, and the color of the connecting icon will change from gray to blue. Unconnected PIC 2 Connected PIC 3 PIC 4‐1 c.
3. HOW TO USE? a. How to wear? i. ii. iii. Put the Star Band on your wrist with the adjustment holes in the strap facing you. Feed the button through thee loop, and adjust the bel till it fits snuugly on your wrist. Push the button into the hole to fasten the Star Band to your wrist. PIC 5 Suggestions: 1. Please do not over tighten the strap on your wrist; it may make yo u feel uncomfortable. 2. Please do not bend the Star Band main odule, as it may distort t he sensitive product.
b. Time Display The Star Band can display the local time on its LED face. Depress once on th e button to read the time from its LED face. It is synchronized with the time on your mobile d evice. e. Sleep Depress the function button and hold (about 3 seconds) till the red LED on b oth sides illuminate and blinks 3 times. Immediately let go of the button once this mo de activates. This will bring the Star Band to sleep mode. If you continue to depress the button, it will return to standard day time mo de. If you continue to depress for about 8 seconds or more, the Star Band will t urn off.

h. Turn off Depress and hold the function button for about 8 seconds or more. The LE Ds will illuminate in the sequences as shown in PIC 12‐1, before turning off. PIC 13‐1 PIC 13‐2 PIC 13‐3 i. Reset Depress and hold on the function button for about 13 seconds till the LEDs blinks 3 times as in (PIC 13‐1). Note: When you reset the Star Band, the memory in the Star Band will be cl eared. Please backup the data before you reset. j.
vi. vii. 15 seconds till the the top and bottom LEDs illuminate. Then release th e button, and wait for the app to retrieve the band name and display on the menu. PIC 14‐3 Confirm and upgrade：click on the band name to confirm to upgrade. The LED in the middle will blink till the upgrade is completed. PIC 14‐4 Upgrade completed：Once the upgrade is completed; it will display th e message as in PIC 14‐5. If the upgrade fails as in PIC 14‐6, please retry again.
