PRESSING AE&AF ON/OFF Exposure and/or focus will lock when the button is pressed and remain locked until it is pressed again. External Flash Units Flash units can be mounted on the hot shoe or connected via the sync terminal. Use optional external flash units for flash photography. Some units support high-speed sync (FP) and can be used at shutter speeds faster than the flash sync speed, while others can function as master flash units controlling remote units via optical wireless flash control. O You may be unable to test-fire the flash in some circumstances, for example when a setup menu is displayed on the camera.
