SINGLE WALL OVEN INSTALLATION

FOR YOUR SAFETY:

— Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or

any other appliance.

— WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:

• Do not try to light any appliance.

• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in your building.

• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor's phone. Follow the gas supplier's

instructions.

• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.

— Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service agency or the gas

supplier.

Connect Electricity to Gas Wall Oven If an external electrical source is used, the appliance, when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes or in their absence of local codes with the National Electric Code ANSI/ NFPA No. 70-1987 or latest edition. For personal safety, these appliances must be properly grounded.

GAS WALL OVEN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS CARPENTRY and SUPPORT Refer to Figure 1 for the dimensions of your appliance and the cabinet cutouts and space needed to fit the oven. The oven support or base surface must be solid plywood, solid wood, or a material verified to meet the temperature and strength requirements needed for your installation. No fiberboard, laminated/ coated wood or other material should be used that is not verified to meet temperature and strength requirements.

GAS WALL OVEN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 2. Cabinet Installation Installing the Anti-tip Mounting Screws Installing the Oven The wall oven can tip when the door is open. The anti-tip mounting screws supplied with the wall oven must be installed to prevent tipping of the wall oven and injury to persons. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Knock out hole on the bottom of the oven, as shown in figure 5. Insert the oven into the cabinet opening. Pull the cord and gas line through the hole.

Connection to Gas (see figure 8) Shut-Off Valve Important: Read these instructions carefully before connecting this unit to a gas supply. The units covered in these instructions are designed to operate on natural gas at 4" of manifold pressure or on LP gas at 10" of manifold pressure.

GAS WALL OVEN INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 5. LP/Propane Gas Conversion A. Pressure Regulator Conversion NOTE: Do not remove the Pressure Regulator. These models have an electric broiler element. No adjustments are required to this element during fuel type conversion. Gas Line Convert the Pressure Regulator for use with LP Gas (see Figure 10). Open storage compartment door. Locate pressure regulator on lower back wall and convert as shown in Figure 10.

Remove one screw from the burner cover then remove the burner cover (Figure 11a). Remove the three screws (A,B and C) holding the burner assembly and remove the assembly from the mounting plate out of the cavity.

Check Operation Refer to the Use and Care Guide packaged with the wall oven for operating instructions and for care and cleaning of your appliance. • Do not touch the oven burners. They may be hot enough to cause burns. • 1. Check the Igniters (some models) Operation of electric igniters should be checked after oven and supply line connectors have been carefully checked for leaks and oven has been connected to electric power.
