INSTALLATION This Use & Care Guide provides general operating instructions for your model. Use the unit only as instructed in this Use & Care Guide. DOOR REMOVAL Tools Necessary To prepare for removing the doors: 1. Ensure the unit is unplugged and empty. 2. It is better for 2 people to handle the unit during this process. 7 3. Rest the unit on something solid so it will not slip, then slightly tilt the unit backwards. Do not lay the unit flat as this could damage the coolant system. 4. Save all parts removed to allow for reinstallation of the doors.
DOOR REMOVAL To remove the doors: 1. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the hinge cover. 2. Remove the cover. 3. Disconnect the harness. 4. Unscrew 3 bolts and remove top hinge. 5. Lift to remove the door and place on a soft pad. 6. Repeat for the other door. 7. After the appliance is in position, reinstall the doors using the reverse procedure.
CONTROLS AND SETTINGS 9 Using the Control Panel Freezer Temp Displays the set temperature of the freezer compartment. Refrigerator Displays the set temperature of Temp the refrigerator compartment. Freeze Boost Vacation Mode Activates a faster rate for freezing food in the freezer compartment. Use this feature when loading several items into the freezer at one time. STORAGE FEATURES CAUTION To avoid personal injury or property damage, handle tempered glass shelves carefully. Shelves may break suddenly if nicked, scratched, or exposed to sudden temperature change. Allow the glass shelves to stabilize to room temperature before cleaning. Do not wash in dishwasher. Crispers Crispers allow you the flexibility to store any manner of items including fruits, vegetables, nuts, etc. Crispers do not feature humidity controls.
NORMAL OPERATING SOUNDS Understanding the Sounds you may Hear Your new, high-efficiency unit may introduce unfamiliar sounds. These sounds normally indicate your appliance is operating correctly. Some surfaces on floors, walls, and kitchen cabinets may make these sounds more noticeable. CARE AND CLEANING Protecting your investment Keeping your appliance clean maintains appearance and prevents odor build-up. Wipe up any spills immediately and clean the freezer and refrigerator compartments at least twice a year.
