BEFORE YOU START
Set up your refrigerator
Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning on the refrigerator. Choose a place near
a grounded electrical outlet, allowing for clearances for ease of installation, proper circulation, and
plumbing and electrical connections.
Before operating for the first time
After you remove all of the package materials, clean the inside of your refrigerator with soap and
water before using it. See CARE AND CLEANING in your Use & Care Manual for other cleaning tips.

Your refrigerator’s CUSTOM-FLEX
®
TEMP
DRAWER has 5 dierent temperature
settings, so you can customize the space
for your needs.
Choose one of 4 settings for
REFRIGERATOR mode, each with a
dierent temperature level:
• Meat/Seafood:
28°F/-2°C
• Deli/Snacks:
37°F/3°C
• Cold Drinks:
32°F/0°C
• White Wine:
45°F/7°C
Or easily switch to the fifth setting for
Freezer mode.
The temperature will drop to match the
setting on your bottom freezer.
Changing settings is easy. Just follow
these simple instructions:
1. Press and hold the Unlock button on the
drawer’s control panel for 3 seconds.
2. Select a temperature setting. The
Adjusting Temp indicator light will
turn on and stay on until the drawer
has reached the selected temperature
setting — this can take a few hours.
Your controls
Use the +/- buttons to set the freezer and refrigerator temperatures. Allow 24 hours for temperatures to
stabilize. We recommend setting your freezer at 0°F/-18°C and your refrigerator at 37°F/3°C.

Freeze Boost activates a faster rate
for freezing food in the freezer.

Cold Drink Timer quickly chills a
drink inside the freezer compartment.

Press and hold Ice Maker for 3
seconds to turn the ice maker on/o.

Press and hold for 3 seconds
to enable/disable the appliance
control display.

Power Outage illuminates and an
alert sounds after a power outage
ends until you reset it by pressing
any button.

Adjusting Temp illuminates
when you press + or — to change
temperatures inside the refrigerator
(34°F/1°C to 44°F/7°C) and freezer
(-6°F/-21°C to 6°F/-15°C).

Door Open Illuminates and alert
sounds if the door is open 5+
minutes until you close the doors.

Replace Water Filter illuminates
when it’s time to change the filter,
generally every 6 months.

Replace Air Filter illuminates
when it’s time to change the filter,
generally every 6 months.

Press Water to dispense water.

Press Cube to dispense cubed ice.

Press Crush to dispense crushed ice.

°F/°C allows you to switch between
Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C).

Chill Boost helps ensure your recently
purchased fresh food will stay cool at
a faster rate to preserve freshness.

Press and hold Reset Air Filter,
after replacing the filter, to reset.

after replacing the filter, to reset.
