Product Description
The RA-6500 is a Radar Altimeter System designed to provide altitude above ground level (AGL) data to an analog or
digital altitude display unit, an integrated Flight Management System (FMS), or Navigation Management System
(NMS). The RA-6500 delivers altitude data via RS-232/422, ARINC 429, or analog output voltages. The RA-6500 meets
the requirements of TSO-C87a, Class A, and ED-30 MOPS compliance.
The RA-6500 is pre-tuned in the factory before shipment and does not have any tuning requirements or
capabilities.
