FloodFlash sensor installation specification
The FloodFlash sensor measures water level. It measures from it’s own base as ‘0’ so must
be installed at the specified height.
Installation site requirements
• The exact location of the sensor will be determined by the customer on the day of
installation.
• The sensor must be installed on the exterior of the building that is outlined in your job
documentation.
• The sensor cannot be installed in a stairwell, drain, or any other depression that
would put the base of the sensor below the local ground elevation.
Installation package includes:
• 1 x FloodFlash Unit A Device
• 2 x Wall Mounting Brackets
• 4 x 10mm Spacers
• 4 x Screws
• 4 x wall plugs
Any additional fixings required for non-masonry surfaces are to be supplied by the installer.

• Cordless Hammer drill
• Masonry Drill Bits
• Hammer
• Spirit Level
• Smartphone
Estimated Timings
We estimate that each installation should take between 10 and 30 minutes to complete.

Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Radiation Exposure warning
Radiofrequency radiation exposure information: this equipment complies with the
radiation exposure limits prescribed for an uncontrolled environment for fixed and
mobile use conditions. This equipment should be installed and operated with a
minimum distance of 20cm between the radiator and the body of the user or nearby
persons. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any
other antenna or transmitter except as authorized in the certification of the product.
