Assembly Plug Upper Post Socket Leg with Button 3 Lever Lower Post • Fit the plug coming from the underside of the base into the socket in the leg with the button. 1 • Align the rib on the upper post to the groove in the lower post (on the main assembly. Slide the upper post into the lower post. Hint: This will require some force. • Push the lever into one of the slots on the side of the upper post. 4 IMPORTANT! Follow this step carefully. Base BOTTOM VIEW • Turn the assembly on its side.
Assembly Place Home Plate Here for a Right-Handed Hitter Place Home Plate Here for a Left-Handed Hitter 6 9 • Turn the assembly upright. • Place home plate over the the button on the leg assembly for either a left or right-handed batter. • "Snap" the arm assembly to the top of the main assembly. Tether 7 BOTTOM VIEW • Turn the assembly on its side. • Insert four screws into the leg assembly and tighten. 10 • "Snap" the tether up into the arm.
Battery Installation Battery Safety Information 1,5V x 3 C (LR14) In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage: • Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbonzinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). • Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment. • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product.
Step-up to the Plate! IMPORTANT! Only use balls supplied with this toy. 1 • Load the balls into the cage. 4 • Tap home plate with the end of your bat to load a ball. Hint: For best results, make sure the balls are clean and dry. 2 • Turn the power switch to ON. 5 3 • Swing and hit the ball. • Tap home plate again to load another ball. • When you're finished playing with the toy, turn the power switch to OFF. Lever • Lift the lever and raise or lower the post to the appropriate height for your child.
