DANCE / WRECK MODE
To enter PLAY MODES: Press the FUNCTION BUTTON on Tys back.
(Press the FUNCTION BUTTON to toggle between PLAY MODES
and REMOTE CONTROL MODE.)
Point the remote control at the front of Ty.
Press and release the UP BUTTON on the
remote control once to enter FIND ME MODE.
Before Ty counts to five, put the remote
control on the floor and see if Ty can find it.
Point the remote control at Ty.
Press and hold the DOWN BUTTON.
Now Ty will follow wherever you go.
Point the remote control at Ty. Press the
WRECK/DANCE BUTTON to wreck or dance with Ty.

QUICK TIPS
(1) When your vehicle starts to lose power, it may lose
functionality or performance. It’s time for fresh batteries.
Your vehicle’s running time may change depending on your
driving style and driving environment.
(2) Interference can affect your vehicle's performance.
Interference can be caused by other I/R devices like a TV
remote control or other remotes in the house. Try to stay
away from these!
(3) Point the transmitter toward the vehicle. If your vehicle
gets too far away, it won’t work properly.
(4) Don't drive your vehicle in sand or through water or snow.
If your vehicle does get wet, wipe it with a towel and allow
to dry completely overnight.
(5) Don’t store your vehicle near heat or in direct sunlight.
Always turn switches OFF and remove all batteries for
storage.
(6) Do not obstruct the line of sight.
(7) Do not exceed the specified range.
(8) To conserve battery life, Ty Rux goes to sleep when left
idle for 5 minutes. To wake him up, press the FUNCTION
BUTTON on his back.
CONSUMER INFORMATION
Note to Adults: To ensure that the child’s play is both safe
and fun, please review all operating instructions and safety
rules with your child.
• NEVER drive your vehicle on streets! Streets are for real cars!
• DO NOT pick up the vehicle while it is in motion.
• Keep fingers, hair and loose clothing away from the wheels
while the vehicle is switched ON.
• Adult supervision is recommended while this toy is being
operated.
• When not in use, turn off the vehicle. To avoid accidental
operation, remove all batteries.
• This product is not recommended for use on loose dirt or wet
surfaces

BATTERY INSTALLATION
Ty Rux requires 4 AA (LR06) alkaline batteries, not included. Remote
control requires 3 AAA (LR03) alkaline batteries, not included. For
longer life, use alkaline batteries. Dispose of batteries safely.
TY RUX
1. Unscrew the battery cover
with a Phillips head
screwdriver (not included).
2. Install 4 AA (LR06) alkaline
batteries with polarity (+/-)
as shown inside the battery
compartment.
3. Replace battery cover and
tighten screws.
NOTE: When exposed to an electrostatic source, the toy may
malfunction. To resume normal operation, turn the power OFF and
ON again. This should reset the toy and let you resume normal
operation.
REMOTE CONTROL
1. Unscrew the battery cover
with a Phillips head
screwdriver (not included).
2. Install 3 AAA (LR03)

polarity (+/-) as shown
insidethe battery
compartment.
3. Replace battery cover and tighten screw.
NOTE: Once batteries are installed, the remote control will always
be “ON”and will work the moment you use it. When exposed to an
electrostatic source, the remote control may malfunction. To
resume normal operation, remove and re-install the batteries.
This should reset the remote control and let you resume normal
operation.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
In exceptional circumstances batteries may leak fluids that can
cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid
battery leakage:
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product
before being charged.
• Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult

VOLUME CONTROL
Ty has 2 volume settings
(High/Low).
Press and hold the FUNCTION
BUTTON for 2 seconds to
change between
the settings.
RIGHTWRONG
1 Switch Ty ON.
2 Stand directly in front of Ty with the
remote control pointed at Ty.
3 When prompted, press the UP BUTTON.
4 Ty will enter REMOTE CONTROL MODE
when you hear him say, "I can see you,
buddy. That’s the perfect spot!”
IMPORTANT: For proper function, keep the remote
control pointing at the infrared LEDs above Ty’s treads.
Do not cover up the infrared LEDs with your fingers.
