SPECIAL FEATURES Remote control Selected models have a remote control provided with the range hood. This remote can also be purchased as an optional accessory for other models of this range hood. The remote is designed to make your range hood easier to use. It allows you to adjust the fan speed and brightness of lighting without touching the range hood. Clean filter reminder The clean filter reminder light will illuminate to remind you to clean the filters.
FOR BEST PERFORMANCE EN This range hood should be turned on for a few minutes before cooking in order to establish air currents upward through the range hood. This will also enable hot air removal from your kitchen and keep the range hood surface cool. When heat, smoke, moisture, grease and cooking odors are produced, they will be carried outside instead of drifting into other rooms. Use the low fan speeds for normal use and the higher fan speeds for high heat, strong odors or fumes.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS RANGE HOOD CONTROL PANEL FEATURES Power Turns your range hood ON and OFF. Also allows you to delay shut off. 1 2 3 4 5 Fan speed Allows you to change the fan speed. Fan speed indicator Indicates the current speed of the fan. 1 is the lowest fan speed and 5 the highest. Light Allows you to adjust the level of lighting. Clean filter reminder Button will illuminate red indicating when your filters require cleaning.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS EN Delayed shut off ●● ●● ●● ●● To use delayed shut off: Press and hold the button, the light around the button will blink. The fan speed will operate for 5 minutes, starting at the current speed and then at each decreasing speed before turning OFF (the fan will stop and the light will go out). To increase the delayed shut off time, press and hold the button again, you will hear a beep. Each beep indicates the delayed shut off time has been increased by 5 minutes.

It allows you to adjust the fan speed and brightness of lighting without touching the range hood. REMOTE CONTROL FEATURES Fan speed Allows you to adjust the speed of the fan.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS EN Light ●● ●● ●● To turn the light ON, press the button once. To increase/decrease the brightness press the button. The light brightness will increase with each button press until it reaches its highest level, at the next button press it will return to the lowest level. To turn the light OFF, press and hold the button. Battery indicator The battery indictor will illuminate when the battery is running low and needs to be replaced.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WARNING! ●● ●● Before servicing or cleaning your range hood, switch the power off at the control panel and disconnect the power to prevent power from being switched on accidentally. Allow the appliance to cool after the power has been turned off before servicing. IMPORTANT! ●● Wear gloves to protect against sharp edges. Clean your range hood regularly to avoid the build-up of grease. Grease deposits are corrosive and may damage the range hood.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE EN Filter cleaning IMPORTANT! ●● The filters can cause damage and/or injury if dropped. Ensure you use two hands to remove and replace the filters. springs To remove the filters: 1 Use the handles to hold the filter (refer to A). 2 Pull the filter toward you, pushing against the front of filter springs to release the back of the filter from the range hood (refer to B). 3 Lower the back of the filter and remove from the front of the range hood (refer to C).
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE To replace the filters: 1 Place the front end of the filter on the ledge above the LED strip, against the inside front of the range hood (refer to D), pull the filter toward you and push the back up into the range hood (refer to E) until it firmly seats into place. TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSES WHAT TO DO Fan has turned off automatically. Fan, light and power buttons will illuminate red. This blower is equipped with a sensor to automatically turn OFF the fan when excessive heat is detected by the range hood. Remove the source of heat, wait until the control panel buttons are no longer illuminated before attempting to restart the range hood. Fan has turned on automatically. The fan speed buttons will illuminate red. The heat guard sensor has activated.

POUR DES PERFORMANCES OPTIMALES FR Cette hotte doit être mise en marche quelques minutes avant la cuisson afin d’établir des courants d’air vers le haut, dans la hotte. Cela permet également d’éliminer l’air chaud de votre cuisine et de garder la surface de la hotte froide. Lorsque de la chaleur, de la fumée, de l’humidité, de la graisse et des odeurs de cuisson sont produites, elles sont évacuées vers l’extérieur au lieu d’être propagées dans les autres pièces.
INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION FONCTIONS DU PANNEAU DE COMMANDE DE LA HOTTE Alimentation Démarre et arrête la hotte. Permet également de régler l’arrêt différé. Vitesse du ventilateur Permet de régler la vitesse du ventilateur. 1 2 3 4 5 Indicateur de vitesse du ventilateur Indique la vitesse actuelle du ventilateur. Lumière Permet de régler le niveau d’éclairage. Rappel de nettoyage des filtres S’allume en rouge lorsque vos filtres doivent être nettoyés.
INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION FR Arrêt différé ●● ●● ●● ●● Pour utiliser l’arrêt différé : Maintenez enfoncée la touche ; le témoin autour de la touche clignotera. Le ventilateur fonctionnera pendant 5 minutes en commençant à la vitesse actuelle, puis à chacune des vitesses inférieures jusqu’à l’arrêt (le ventilateur s’arrêtera et le témoin s’éteindra). Pour augmenter la durée d’arrêt différé, maintenez enfoncée la touche de nouveau; l’appareil émettra un bip.
INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION Télécommande (pour certains modèles ou comme accessoire en option) Certains modèles de hotte sont fournis avec une télécommande. Vous pouvez également vous procurer cette télécommande comme accessoire en option pour les autres modèles de hotte. La télécommande est conçue pour faciliter l’utilisation de votre hotte. INSTRUCTIONS D’UTILISATION FR Lumière ●● ●● ●● Pour allumer la lumière, appuyez une fois sur la touche . Pour augmenter/réduire la luminosité, appuyez sur la touche . La luminosité de l’éclairage augmente chaque fois que vous appuyez sur la touche, jusqu’au niveau supérieur, puis à la pression suivante sur la touche, la luminosité retourne au niveau inférieur. Pour éteindre la lumière, maintenez enfoncée la touche .
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN MISE EN GARDE! ●● ●● Avant de procéder à l’entretien ou au nettoyage de la hotte, interrompez l’alimentation au panneau de commande et déconnectez l’alimentation pour éviter la mise en marche accidentelle. Avant de procéder à l’entretien, laissez l’appareil refroidir après l’interruption de l’alimentation. IMPORTANT! ●● Portez des gants pour vous protéger des rebords tranchants. Nettoyez votre hotte régulièrement pour éviter l’accumulation de dépôts de graisse.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN FR Nettoyage des filtres IMPORTANT! ●● Les filtres peuvent causer des dommages et/ou des blessures en cas de chute. Assurez-vous de les retirer et les réinstaller avec les deux mains. Pour retirer les filtres : ressorts 1 Utilisez les poignées pour tenir le filtre (reportez-vous à A). 2 Tirez le filtre vers vous, en le poussant contre devant du filtre les ressorts, pour dégager la partie arrière du filtre de la hotte (reportez-vous à B).
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN Pour réinstaller les filtres : 1 Placez l’extrémité avant du filtre sur le rebord situé au-dessus de la bande à DEL, contre la partie intérieure avant de la hotte (reportez-vous à D), puis tirez le filtre vers vous et poussez la partie arrière dans la hotte (reportez-vous à E) jusqu’à ce que le filtre repose fermement en place.
DÉPANNAGE PROBLÈME CAUSES POSSIBLES SOLUTIONS Le ventilateur s’éteint automatiquement. Les touches de ventilateur, d’éclairage et d’alimentation s’allumeront en rouge. Ce ventilateur est équipé d’un capteur permettant de l’ARRÊTER automatiquement lorsqu’une chaleur excessive est détectée par la hotte. Retirez la source de chaleur et attendez que les touches du panneau de commande s’éteignent avant de tenter de redémarrer la hotte. Le ventilateur démarre automatiquement.
