Contents of Your Kit General Warnings About Carbon Monoxide Gas Please make sure the following is included in your kit: This carbon monoxide alarm is designed to detect carbon monoxide gas from ANY source of combustion. It is NOT designed to detect smoke, or any other gas types. The alarm also is equipped with Supplemental Temperature Sensing. This will activate the alarm if the temperature reaches either 135°F or the temperature rises by more than 20°F in a minute or less.

Deactivating the Exigent CO Alarm Creating Your Wireless Network When the alarm’s End-of-Life signal occurs, the alarm must be deactivated and disposed of properly. Be sure and have a replacement alarm available. The Exigent CO Alarm communicates on its own private home network. Adding an Alarm to Your Wireless Network Removing a CO Alarm from a Wireless Network To add an alarm(s) to your existing home network, perform the following steps. In the event that an alarm must be removed from your network, the alarm’s network data must be erased from its memory. Select any alarm on the existing network. Press and hold the button on the front cover of the alarm. The red WARNING light (FIRE if alarm is a smoke alarm)will flash rapidly and the alarm will sound three or four tones.
