Mosaic Tile Backer Board Installation Guide

The ultra-thin, 1/8” backer boards are the perfect waterproof tile backer board for backsplashes, tub decks, oors, under mosaic strips

in all tile designs.

MOSAIC ACCENT STRIPS

The 1/8” tile backer board provides a perfect, even surface to perfectly install mosaics accent strip into large format wall tile assemblies.

This helps avoid excess mortar build up and leveling when trying to evenly align thicker tiles with the thinner mosaic tile strip.

These ultra-thin backer boards can be pre-tiled in the shop and simply adhered into the wall assembly on-site using thin set mortar applied to the

back of the strip only.
