Kingspan GreenGuard
®
HPW
™
Building Wrap is a non-woven
building wrap with a breathable polyolefin coating that performs as
both a water–resistive barrier and as an air barrier in accordance
with the International Building, Residential and Energy Codes.
It is an excellent secondary weather barrier that helps deflect water
and wind–driven rain, yet is designed to breathe to assist trapped
moisture vapor to escape, helping walls dry faster.

providing superior resistance against the rain before the siding
goes on and against water that seeps through the siding after

Building Wrap is UV
resistant up to 6 months.
Compliance
Intertek CCRR-1018 for IBC, IECC and IRC Compliance;
ASTM D 226, Type I (Specification for Building/Roofing Paper);
ASTM E 2178 – Air Permeance (Air Barrier Materials);
ASTM E 2556, Type II – Standard specification for vapor permeable
flexible sheet water-resistive barriers intended for mechanical
attachment;
AC 38 – Acceptance Criteria for Water-Resistive Barriers;
HUD/FHA UU-B-790a – Equivalent to Grade D/Type 15 Building Paper.
Handling & Storage
When stored outdoors, all product should be protected from
exposure to direct sunlight using the original packaging or an
opaque, light–colored tarp. Material that has been unwrapped
should be covered or rewrapped.
WARNING: This product is combustible. A protective barrier or
thermal barrier is required as specified in the appropriate building
code. Protect it from exposure to open flame or other ignition
sources during shipping, storage and installation.

Building Wrap is made of synthetic
materials that are generally recognized as not providing a food
source for insects, fungus, mold, or mildew. It should always be
properly installed and stored.
