LED BALLAST BYPASS TUBE WITH SHATTER RESISTANT COATING
NOTE: Keep your receipt and these instructions for proof of purchase
WARNING: Shut off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing the old fixture, ballast, or fluorescent tubes.
If you are unfamiliar with electrical installations, we recommend you contact a qualified electrician to do the installation.
INSTALLATION
1. Shut off power at the electrical panel before beginning the installation.
2. Remove existing fluorescent tubes and set aside to recycle in accordance with local requirements.
3. Remove and set aside the ballast cover, if needed.
4. Use the existing shunted sockets if they in good condition. If not, it is recommended that new shunted sockets (not included)
are installed.

• Install only in luminaires (light fixtures) that have the construction features and dimensions shown in the photographs and/or drawings included in these installation instructions.
• Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.
To prevent wiring damage or abrasion, do not expose wiring to edges of sheet metal or other sharp objects.

WARNING: THIS RETROFIT KIT IS ACCEPTED AS A COMPONENT OF A LUMINAIRE WHERE THE SUITABILITY OF THE COMBINATION SHALL BE DETERMINED BY AUTHORITIES HAVING
JURISDICTION. • Installers should not disconnect existing wires from lampholder terminals to make new connections at lampholder terminals. Instead installers should cut existing
lampholder leads away from the lampholder and make new electrical connections to lampholder lead wires by employing applicable connectors. • THERE ARE LED TUBE, OPERATION
INSTRUCTION AND FIELD APPLIED LABEL IN THIS RETROFIT KIT. • This device is not intended for use with emergency exits. • Not suitable for use in vapor tight luminaires (light
fixtures).
The units covered by this report were intended to be retrofit surface mounted with a diffuser for this model number. Type IC and non-IC recessed mounted fluorescent luminaires use a
