USE AND CARE GUIDE

LED SECURITY LIGHT DUSK TO DAWN WITH PHOTOCELL MOTION SENSOR

NOTE: Keep your receipt and these instructions for proof of purchase.

WARNING: Shut off the power at the circuit breaker or fuse panel before removing the old ﬁxture,

ballast, or ﬂuorescent tubes.

If you are unfamiliar with electrical installations, we recommend you contact a qualiﬁed electrician to

do the installation.

INSTALLATION

This light ﬁxture is suitable for wall mounting or eave mounting only. It is not suitable for ground

mounting installation. The light ﬁxture should be mounted a minimum of 6.5 ft. (2.0 m) above the

ground. If two walls intersect, than the distance between the intersecting line and the light ﬁxture

should be more than 2 ft. (0.6 m).

Shut off power at the electrical panel before beginning the installation.

Remove existing ﬁxture and set aside to recycle in accordance with local requirements.

Choose your favorite correlated color temperature (CCT) before installing the ﬁxture.

NOTICE: The factory setting for the correlated color temperature (CCT) is 3000K, which is the

warmest white light.

Choose the desired brightness (lumen output).

NOTICE: The factory setting for the brightness (lumen output) is 3600lm.

Use the 2 short mounting screws to attach the mounting bracket to the

electrical box.

Make sure the text “GND” faces out.

Make the electrical connections:

• Black wire to black wire.

• White wire to white wire.

• Ground wire to ground.

• Connect the ground wires to the grounding screw

on the mounting bracket.

Use wire connectors to cover the wire connections

and wrap with electrical tape.

Place the foam gasket on the electrical box.

Pull the wires from the electrical box through the opening in the foam gasket.

Adjust the light heads to the desired

position.

NOTE: If mounted with the photocell sensor

in the down position, the angle between the light

head and the wall should be larger than 45° for best performance.

NOTE: As an option, the light ﬁxture can be installed with the photocell sensor

positioned at the top of the security light.

Apply silicone sealant (not included) to

the edges of the ﬁxture.

Testing the Photocell Motion Sensor:

• Turn the timer knob to Test.

• Move in front of the sensor and the light will turn on and then off

after 5 seconds.

Use the long mounting screw to attach the

ﬁxture to the mounting bracket.

Make sure no wires are visible.

Insert the rubber plug into the hole on the

ﬁxture.

Use the Color Preference

switch to

select the desired color temperature.

13 Adjusting the sensitivity of the motion sensor: • Turn the sensitivity knob to adjust the sensitivity (5ft. to 60ft.). • The motion sensor is more sensitive to movement across its coverage area. NOTE: The higher sensitivity level increases the likelihood of a false activation being triggered. 14 Move the timer knob to the desired timer setting (1 to 10 minutes). The timer setting indicates how long the light stays on after motion is detected.
