number,and,iftheFCCidentificationnumberisnotvisiblewhenthemoduleisinstalledinsideanotherdevice,
thentheoutsideofthedeviceintowhichthemoduleis installedmustalsodisplayalabelr
eferringtothe
enclosedmodule.Thisexteriorlabelcanusewordingsuchasthefollowing:“ContainsTransmitterModuleFCC
ID:XYZMODEL1”or“ContainsFCCID:XYZMODEL1.”Anysimilarwordingthatexpressesthesamemeaningmay
beused.TheGranteemayeitherprovidesuchalabel,anexampleofwhichmustbeincludedintheapplica
tion
forequipmentauthorization,or,mustprovideadequateins tructionsalongwiththemodulewhichexplainthis
requirement.Inthelattercase,acopyoftheseinstructionsmustbeincludedintheapplicationforequipment
authorization.
