Introduction The Stereo Bluetooth™ Headset HBH-DS970 lets you stay in control of your incoming and outgoing phone calls. You can enjoy stereo audio from a phone or other Bluetooth device, such as a computer or a portable music player. When you receive or make a call, the music automatically pauses and starts playing again when the call ends. Your phone or other device should support the following Bluetooth profiles: • Bluetooth Handsfree or Bluetooth Headset. • Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution.

Getting started To charge the headset First time use: Charge approximately 8 hours before using the headset. Adding the headset to the phone Before you can use the headset with your phone it has to be added once to the phone. Follow the instructions from the phone user guide on how to turn on Bluetooth in your phone. To add the headset to the phone 1 Turn on Bluetooth in your phone. 2 Turn on Bluetooth visibility in your phone, and keep it close to the headset (20 cm).
3 Select singlepoint mode and make sure the headset is off. 4 Press and hold the on/off button for 2 seconds. You hear a signal and the Sony Ericsson logo is displayed briefly. The display shows when the headset is prepared to be added to the phone. If not, make sure the headset is off, and press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds. You hear a long beep after the first signal. 5 If your phone supports auto pairing, press YES when Add device? appears in your phone to complete the procedure.
To reset the headset to default settings 1 Make sure the headset is off, and press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds. You hear a long beep after the first signal. The headset is prepared to be added. 2 Press and hold the on/off button and the call handling button simultaneously for 5 seconds. The headset is turned off. Listening to music Before you can listen to music, the headset has to be added once to your phone, see instructions on page 8.
To play a music track 1 Start the media player in your phone, and select to use the headset. 2 Press the music button. The headset connects to your phone, and the music starts playing. 3 To pause the music or start playing again, press the music button. To stop the music 1 Press and hold the music button. The music stops. 2 To start the music again, press the music button. The headset connects to your phone, and the music starts playing. To skip to another music track Select Next or Previous.
To add the headset to another device 1 Turn on Bluetooth in your device. 2 Turn on Bluetooth visibility in your device, and keep it close to the headset (20 cm). 3 Select multipoint mode and make sure the headset is off. 4 Press and hold the on/off button for 5 seconds. You hear a long beep after the first signal. The headset is prepared to be added. 5 Prepare your device according to the device user guide on how to add a Bluetooth device. Please note that you may need to enter a passcode.
Calling functions Your phone uses the headset for calls, even if you are listening to music from another device in multipoint mode. To answer a call Press the call handling button. The music pauses during the call. To reject a call Press and hold the call handling button for 2 seconds. To end a call Press the call handling button. The display shows the duration of the call. The music starts playing again. To make a call using voice commands 1 Press the call handling button and the music is muted.
To switch between two calls Press and hold the call handling button for 2 seconds. To redial the last dialled number Press the call handling button quickly twice. To turn the microphone on or off (mute) During a call, press both volume buttons. To adjust the ringtone volume When you have no ongoing call or music playing, press the volume button up or down. To adjust the speaker volume for calls During a call, press the volume button up or down.
• Check or redo the Bluetooth settings in the phone or other device. For more information on Bluetooth and pairing, go to www.sonyericsson.com/learnabout. Redial does not work If the call list in the phone is empty you cannot use the redial function. The headset does not connect to my music source • Make sure your device is available, and supports Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution profile. The headset tries to connect to the most recent device used as a music source.
Battery capacity A battery that has been infrequently used or a new one, could have reduced capacity. It may need to be recharged a number of times. Das Headset muss ausgeschaltet sein. 4 Drücken und halten Sie zwei Sekunden lang die Ein/Aus-Taste. Sie hören ein Tonsignal. Außerdem wird das Sony Ericsson-Logo kurz angezeigt. Das Display meldet, wenn das Headset mit dem Telefon gekoppelt werden kann.

Musik hören Bevor Sie Musik hören können, muss das Headset mit dem Telefon gekoppelt werden. Beachten Sie die Anleitung auf Seite 22. So spielen Sie einen Musiktitel ab: 1 Starten Sie den Player im Telefon und wählen Sie das Headset als Ziel. 2 Drücken Sie die Musiktaste. Das Headset stellt die Verbindung zum Telefon her und die Musikwiedergabe startet. 3 Drücken Sie die Musiktaste, um die Musikwiedergabe anzuhalten bzw. fortzusetzen.
So stoppen Sie die Musikwiedergabe: 1 Drücken und halten Sie die Musiktaste. Die Musik wird gestoppt. 2 Drücken Sie die Musiktaste, um die Musik wieder zu starten. Das Headset stellt die Verbindung zum Telefon her und die Musikwiedergabe startet. So gelangen Sie zu einem anderen Titel: Wählen Sie „Nächster“ oder „Vorheriger“. So stellen Sie die Musiklautstärke ein: Drücken Sie die Taste „Lautstärke erhöhen“ oder „Lautstärke verringern“, während Sie Musik hören.

5 Bereiten Sie das Gerät mit den in der zugehörigen Bedienungsanleitung angegebenen Schritten auf das Koppeln eines Bluetooth Geräts vor. Bei einigen Geräten müssen Sie eine Kennung eingeben. Die Kennung des Headsets lautet 0000. Anruffunktionen Das Telefon verwendet das Headset für Anrufe, auch wenn Sie im Multimodus Musikdateien von einem anderen Gerät anhören. So nehmen Sie einen Anruf an: Drücken Sie die Anruftaste. Während des Anrufs wird die Musikwiedergabe unterbrochen.
Damit Sie diese Funktion verwenden können, müssen Sie zunächst die Sprachsteuerung im Telefon aktivieren und Sprachbefehle aufnehmen. Wahlwiederholung funktioniert nicht Wenn die Anrufliste im Telefon leer ist, kann die Wahlwiederholungsfunktion nicht verwendet werden. Para volver a marcar el último número marcado Pulse el botón de gestión de llamadas dos veces rápidamente.
Resolución de problemas No hay conexión con el teléfono u otro dispositivo • Antes de utilizar el auricular Bluetooth estéreo con el teléfono u otro dispositivo, debe añadirlo según se describe en la página 38. • Se recomienda añadir primero el auricular al teléfono, en el modo de punto único. Seleccione el modo de punto único y añada de nuevo el auricular al teléfono. En el modo de punto múltiple, se utilizará para las llamadas el primer teléfono o dispositivo al que se haya añadido el auricular.
El auricular no conecta con mi fuente de música • Compruebe que el dispositivo esté disponible y que admite el perfil Bluetooth de distribución de audio avanzada. El auricular conecta con el último dispositivo utilizado como fuente de música. Puede que necesite reiniciar el reproductor de medios del dispositivo. • Compruebe los ajustes del botón de selección de modo único/múltiple.

Pour lire une plage musicale 1 Démarrez le lecteur média de votre téléphone et spécifiez l’utilisation des écouteurs. 2 Appuyez sur la touche Musique. Les écouteurs se connectent à votre téléphone et la musique est reproduite. Pour accéder à une autre plage musicale Sélectionnez Suivante ou Précédente. Pour régler le volume de la musique Lorsque vous écoutez la musique, appuyez sur la touche d’augmentation ou de diminution du volume.
Pour ajouter les écouteurs à un autre périphérique 1 Activez Bluetooth sur votre périphérique. 2 Activez la visibilité Bluetooth sur votre périphérique et gardez-le à proximité des écouteurs (20 cm). 3 Sélectionnez le mode multipoint et assurez-vous que les écouteurs sont hors tension. 4 Maintenez enfoncé le commutateur de mise sous/ hors tension pendant 5 secondes. Le premier signal est suivi d’un long bip. Vous pouvez ajouter les écouteurs.
5 Préparez votre périphérique conformément aux instructions de son Guide d’utilisation relatives à l’ajout d’un périphérique Bluetooth. Il se peut que vous deviez saisir un code d’accès. Le code d’accès des écouteurs est 0000. Fonctions d’appel En mode multipoint, votre téléphone utilise les écouteurs pour les appels, même si vous écoutez la musique d’un autre périphérique. Pour répondre à un appel Appuyez sur la touche de gestion des appels. La musique s’arrête pendant l’appel.
Pour pouvoir utiliser cette fonction, vous devez activer la commande vocale sur votre téléphone et enregistrer des commandes vocales. Pour plus d’informations sur les commandes vocales et pour savoir si votre téléphone les prend en charge, reportez-vous au Guide d’utilisation du téléphone. Pour transférer le son du téléphone aux écouteurs Pendant un appel sur votre téléphone, appuyez sur la touche de gestion des appels des écouteurs.
