Getting to know your new Zigbee device

Two mounting tabs with screw keyholes are located at the top of this unit.
Install the included screw in the desired location leaving 3/16in. of the screw exposed.
Align the mounting tab with the screw head, slide the tab over the screw and let the unit drop to lock
it in place.
The manual/program button on the outdoor switch allows
the user to:
Turn the connected equipment ON/OFF. If the outdoor switch is OFF,
press the button once to turn it ON and vice versa to turn OFF.

Zigbee network pairing
1. From your Zigbee controller’s menu, choose to add lighting device and enter locating/
pairing mode as instructed by the controller.
2. Plug the light you plan to control into the Zigbee-controlled outlet on the smart switch.
3. Plug the smart switch into a grounded outlet.
Note: Plug directly into outlet. Do not use with extension cords.
4. Network pairing begins automatically: LED status indicator blinks as the smart switch
automatically scans for a compatible network controller.
5. After the smart switch is located and paired to the approved Zigbee network, the LED
status indicator will stop blinking and the smart switch will appear in your controller’s
menu.
6. The smart switch is paired to the Zigbee network and can be controlled remotely.
Note: LED status indicator stops blinking if a timeout occurs.
Auto-scan mode will eventually time out if the smart switch has not joined a Zigbee
network. Press the manual/program button on the smart switch to restart pairing process
following timeout. If the smart switch is not paired before the second timeout, manual
reset will be required before pairing. Please refer to the following section for details.
Reset smart switch (Remove from Zigbee network)
From the Zigbee controller
From your controller or hub interface, choose to remove or delete the lighting device
as instructed. The smart switch will be removed from the Zigbee network following
indication from your controller. All configuration parameters will be reset after the
smart switch is removed from the network.
Manual
1. Unplug the smart switch from the outlet.
2. Hold down the push button.
3. Plug the smart switch back into the outlet while holding down the push button.
4. Release button after the smart switch is plugged in.
Note: If the button is held down more than 4 seconds after being plugged in, the
smart switch will NOT reset and will remain with the current network.
If prompted by the controller to enter the install
code, refer to the QR code label on the product.
