1. Install the battery:
(1) Remove the battery cover on the top.
(2) Insert the Alkaline Batteries enclosed in the box into the battery compartment, and follow the
direction mark to insert battery.
(3) Replace the cover carefully.
Note: Once the battery is placed correctly, the mouse optical LED located at the bottom will be
lighted up. If the LED dont light up, please remove the batteries, make sure the battery
direction and install anew.
2. Connect the receiver:
Using USB port user:
Please connect the receiver to the USB port on the computer. For USB-port installation,
Windows 98 or higher or Macintosh® OS 8.6 or higher is required. Under Windows environment,
you may be prompted to insert the Windows software CD. Please insert this CD into the
computers CDROM when you are asked to do so and follow the onscreen instructions.
Using PS/2 port user:
(a) To connect to a PS/2 port, please turn off your computer.
(b) Connect the PS/2 adapter to the receiver or USB cable . And USB cable connect to receiver
(c) Insert the adapter into the PS/2 port on the computer.
(d) Turn on the computer.
3. Establish communication link
After you insert the receiver to your computer, the LED on the receiver will light up. Press the
ID button on receiver, and then press the ID button on the mouse bottom. If the receiver links
with the mouse successfully, the LED on the receiver will blink quickly and then stop blinking.
4. Important Note
?? To optimize the performance of your RF reception, please make your receiver away from
electric al devices. Avoid using your RF optical mouse on a metal surface. That may slow
down the response of the mouse or cause the mouse fail to response.
?? Please use Alkaline Batteries only. Do not mix different brand batteries or mix old and new
batteries in the mouse.
?? Advice to use in light-color surface. This will save batterys life. White ,bright surfaces are
recommended.
?? If you will not use the mouse for a long time, please take the batteries apart to extend its
using life.
?? If someone use wireless product nearby, please keep 1.5 meters at least to avoid the
interference.
5. Troubleshooting
The mouse does not work or not detected.
?? Check the USB or PS/2 port, make sure receiver is connected
correctly.
