EL-2640
The EL-2640 is a wireless keypad designed for use
with the infiniti control panel. This keypad includes
three arming keys that activate Full, Part or
Perimeter arming modes. Pressing the Full and
Perimeter buttons simultaneously generates an SOS
panic alarm. Additionally, two Home Automation
keys allow remote control over Home Automation
modules.
Registration
To register the EL-2640:
1. Set the control panel to Registration mode.
2. Press a button on the keypad making sure
that the LED lights up when the button is
pressed.
3. Wait for five seconds and press the same
button again.
Battery Replacement
Every time a key is pressed, the battery status LED is lit.
When the battery needs to be replaced, the LED
flashes.
To replace the battery:
1. Remove the battery cover located at the rear of the unit. To do so, press the release tab using a small
screwdriver and lift the cover away from the EL-2640’s plastic housing.
2. Observing correct polarity, replace the 9V alkaline battery.
3. Replace the battery cover making sure that it clicks shut.
Wall Mounting
To mount the EL-2640 to the wall:
1. Place the mounting bracket in position against the wall and
mark the two mounting holes.
2. Install wall anchors in the appropriate positions and mount the
bracket to the wall.
3. Place the EL-2640 in the bracket and slide it down until you
hear a click.
4. To release the EL-2640, press the release tab in the direction of
the wall and remove the unit.
