Remove the middle hinge (2) and refit it on the opposite side. Refit the door and (A) on the left side. Remove (D) from the right side. For safety reasons, minimum ventilation must be as shown in Fig. 2. Attention: keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction. Fig. 2 50-min. cm 2 200 min.
Dimensions of housing Height of housing 1446 mm Depth of housing 550 mm Width of housing 560 mm Fig. 3 A Push appliance into housing until stop strip (A) touches the kitchen unit. D015 If after having carried out the operation just described there is still some space left between the appliance and the kitchen unit, fit the trimming provided together with the appliance, on the stop strip (A). Fig.
Apply covers (B) on joint cover lugs and into hinge holes. Fig. 7 B D096 Position the runners (H) inside the kitchen unit door as shown in Fig. 8 and mark the position of the external holes. After preparing the holes, screw the runners to the kitchen unit door using 3.5x16 mm screws. Fig. 8 H 20m m D094 Open both the appliance door and that of the kitchen unit to approx. 90°. Place the little plates over the runners. Hold the doors of the appliance and the unit together and mark the holes. Fig.
The doors can be opened using the sliding system previously illustrated, or one of the two doors can be opened by fitting the small handle supplied as an accessory. Fig. 11 Electrical connection Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage and frequency shown on the serial number plate correspond to your domestic power supply. Voltage can vary by ±6% of the rated voltage. For operation with different voltages, a suitably sized auto-transformer must be used.
OPERATION GB Starting-up Fresh food refrigeration Insert the plug into the wall socket. Open the door and turn the thermostat control knob, to be found on the upper right hand side of the inner compartment, clockwise beyond position «O» (OFF) to start the appliance. The refrigerator compartment is suitable for cooling drinks and for normal food storing.
Inner arrangement Fig. 12 Movable shelves The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a series of runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired. D040 Positioning the door shelves Fig. 13 To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the door shelves can be adjusted in height. To make these adjustments proceed as follows: Gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the arrows until it comes off, then reposition as required. PR249 Fig.
Freezing fresh food The compartment marked by the 4-star symbol is suitable for the long-term storage of frozen foods and for freezing fresh food. To freeze fresh food, it is not necessary to change the thermostat knob setting from normal. If you require fast freezing, however, turn the thermostat knob to the coldest setting. In this case, though, be sure that the temperature in the refrigerator compartment does not drop below zero.
Defrosting Frost is automatically eliminated from the evaporator of the refrigerator compartment every time the motor compressor stops, during normal use. The defrost water drains out through a trough into a special container at the back of the appliance, over the motor compressor, where it evaporates. Fig. 15 It is important to periodically clean the defrost water drain hole in the middle of the refrigerator compartment channel to prevent the water overflowing and dripping onto the food inside.
MAINTENANCE Unplug the appliance before carrying out any maintenance operation. GB Interior light The light bulb inside the refrigerator compartment can be reached as follows: Warning This appliance contains hydrocarbons in its cooling unit; maintenance and recharging must therefore only be carried out by authorized technicians. Periodic cleaning Never use metal objects for cleaning your appliance as it may get damaged. Clean the inside with warm water and bicarbonate of soda. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
