Installation ª During normal operation, the condenser and compressor at the back of the appliance heat up considerably. For safety reasons, minimum ventilation must be as shown in the relevant Figure. Attention: keep ventilation openings clear of obstruction. ª If the appliance is transported horizontally, it is possible that the oil contained in the compressor flows in the refrigerant circuit.

INSTALLATION If this appliance featuring magnetic door seals is to replace an older appliance having a spring lock (latch) on the door or lid, be sure to make that spring lock unusable before you discard the old appliance. This will prevent it from becoming a death-trap for a child. Positioning The appliance should be installed well away from sources of heat such as radiators, boilers, direct sunlight etc.

Open the door and push the appliance against the side of the kitchen unit opposite to that of appliance hinges. Fasten the appliance with 4 screws provided in the kit included with the appliance. Position the runners (H) at the top and bottom of the inside of the kitchen unit as shown in Fig. 7 and mark the position of the external holes. After preparing the holes, screw the runners to the kitchen unit door using 3.5x16 mm screws. Fig. 6 H 20m m D094 Fig. 7 Open both the appliance door and that of the kitchen unit to approx. 90°. Place the little plates over the runners. Hold the doors of the appliance and the unit together and mark the holes.
USE Operation Fresh food refrigeration Insert the plug into the wall socket. Open the refrigerator door and turn the thermostat knob, clockwise, beyond the «O» (STOP) position. The appliance will start to operate. To obtain the best performance: Temperature regulation GB do not store warm food or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator; do cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavour. Position food so that air can circulate freely round it.
