Contact Cleaner Lubricant

EML is a solvent/lubricant blend designed to remove surface contamination and oxidation from all metallic

contact surfaces. Use of the product reduces electrical resistance across the switch or connector by increasing

the surface area of the contact. EML also ensures long term protection from corrosion and arcing by depositing

a thin film of Electrolube (2X Oil) Contact Lubricant.

Page 2 Typical Product Applications Primarily for slider / rotary tuners, potentiometers, for friction, ball or roller wiping contacts, slip rings and brushes. EML can also be used in rocker/push-pull switches, edge connectors, plugs and sockets, valve pins, bulb holders, switch gear, locks, hinges and general electro-mechanical uses. EML200F and ELM400D contains flammable solvents in order to remove CFC content. sprayed onto live contacts or other sources of ignition.
