Flagship centre: CC 601 CE
The most discerning cineasts
are thrilled with the new
CC 601 CE, which enables
home cinema at the highest
standards in combination with
the components of the 600 CE
series.
Matching the FS 609 CE and
the FS 607 CE, the centre
speaker has been equipped
with ELAC’s crystal membrane
technology and the new coaxial
midrange unit – likewise with a
crystal structure-reinforced
aluminium-honeycomb
membrane ring.
The upgrade has certainly paid
off: The 3-way centre
loudspeaker is more powerful overall, and is well able to hold its own when teamed up with large main speakers. Due to
its optimum emission characteristics, it offers optimum vocal clarity over the entire frequency range. With its coaxial
design, it emits a broad sound that, in spite of the speaker’s horizontal orientation, is scarcely influenced by listener’s
location. The finely defined sound quality with precisely graduated tonal depths coupled with a very agreeable sense of
space can also fill larger rooms.
With a great deal of dynamism, verve and an exceptionally large listening zone, the CC 601 CE is able to convert any
living room into a spectular film theatre!
Technical features and characteristics
Second generation X-JET:
o Optimized magnetic system
o Internal array with additional damping
o New MT membrane design with Nomex honeycomb
material/ Phenol cellulose overlays and crystal
membrane.
TT 180 AS-XR with crystal
membrane and titanium oscillatory
spool carriers in.
Network with sophisticated filter
technology for perfect integration
of all transducer systems into
a perfect coaxial sound source.
Equipped with components of the
luxury class (MKP capacitors,
metal oxide resistors produced specially
for ELAC) Internal wiring: Van den Hul.
Cabinet with cross-frame hybrid technology.
The sophisticated cabinet is built from a material mix of
extruded aluminium profile, aluminium die castings and
MDF, with horizontal and vertical MDF ribs rigged with
internal tension struts. The design offers complete sound
optimisation and ensures that cabinet resonances are
minimized.
