Enterprise SONiC Distribution by Edgecore is a hardened, open distribution of SONiC (Soſtware for Open Networking in the Cloud) which
runs on Edgecore Open Networking switches. The SONiC Community is led by Microsoſt and many key players, including Edgecore, to
deliver a robust and proved soſtware infrastructure to enable customer to build highly portable, scalable data center networks.
Multiple merchant switching silicon platforms
Enterprise SONiC Distribution by Edgecore can run across multiple choices of switch platforms for 1G/10G/25G/100G/400G, including well
know silicon solution like Broadcom and Intel. Choices of different silicon design gives users freedom of their network design.
The only production ready and truly opened SONiC distribution in market
Enterprise SONiC Distribution by Edgecore is built from Community SONiC distribution, which has been further tested and hardened to
ensure production-ready deployment on Edgecore Open Networking platforms, and all changes are contributed back to community.
One stop support for full soſtware stack plus hardware
Enterprise SONiC Distribution by Edgecore is validated with variety of optics and cables delivered from Edgecore as well as industry
sources. This ensures that the overall system – switch hardware, firmware, NOS, and connectivity, from drivers to applications, are proven
to work together, removing concern about platform level interoperability.
