Replacing a Meter
If you are replacing a meter, you can use the backup le for your meter’s conguration to con-
gure the new meter with the same settings as the meter it replaced (see the previous section).
While following the installation instructions in the Quick Start Guide, instead of manually congur-
ing the meter on the bench, use the previous meter’s conguration le to set the meter param-
eters.
Monitoring Changes to the Conguration
The system log shows system events, such as changes to settings, rmware updates, and meter
restarts. Each event carries a time-and-date stamp and a severity level. You can print the log by
clicking the Print button; however, the printout contains a screen image, not the entire log. To
print an entire log you may need to use the scroll bar to reposition the log in the window and print
it in sections.
Note: You can tell who has made conguration changes to the meter from the log as it not only
logs changes but the IP address of the computer from which the changes were made.
