6. REPLACING THE BATTERY XENON chic is designed to use a single AAA alkaline battery. To replace the battery, do the following procedure. @ Slide the locking switch to the unlock position. @ Slide the battery cover to the right position. @ Remove the old battery and insert a new battery in the direction shown on the battery compartment. @ Slide the battery cover back on the pager and slide the battery lock switch to the locked position.
