4.HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION Safety Peformation There is no physical danger of ignition or chemical danger of hazardous materials' leakage during normal use. As the cell with Laminated Aluminum Foil outer package is different from the tradition metal-shelled case liquid lithium cell,it can reduce safety problems arising and it can't detonate even exposed to a fire. Potential Health Effects: Cobalt and Cobalt compounds are considered to be possible human carcinogen(s).

14.TRANSPORTATION/SHIPPING AND REGULATORY INFORMATION ◆US DOT,All AEC batteries are not subject to the requirements of the Department of Transportation(DOT) subchapter C,Hazardous Material Regulations since each AEC battery meets the exceptions under 173.185(b).The AEC batteries are exempted from the US DOT regulations as they are separated to prevent short circuits and packed in strong packing for conditions normally encountered in transportation.
