©2018 DreamLine. All Rights Reserved Shower Base Installation - Preparation 1. Ensure that the floor and the studs are at right angles. Provide a 5”×5” opening in the subfloor for the drain. The 2” PVC waste pipe should extend above the surface of the sub-floor according to the drain installation instructions and the height of the Shower base. Refer to the product drawings and tables in this installation manual for the drain location. 90° 90° 90° See Fig. 1 and Fig. 2 for details.
©2018 DreamLine. All Rights Reserved 2. Install the shower drain (NOT INCLUDED) according to the drain installation manual (supplied with the drain). See Fig. 3 for example Fig. 3 3. Place the tray into the designated position so that the Drain cutout drops around the Drain Pipe and butt the Shower Base up against the studs. See Fig. 4 for details. Lower the base over the drain pipe and set it into place against the studs. Fig.

Mix the bedding material (Mortar, cement-sand mix, etc.) Concrete or plaster is not recommended. Apply enough bedding material to support the entire bottom of the shower base. This will add additional stability and prevent the base from shifting position. See Fig. 6 for details. Mortar Fig.
©2018 DreamLine. All Rights Reserved 6. After the bedding material has been poured and before it sets, place the shower base into the position with the drain assembly sliding over the PVC waste pipe. It will be necessary to push the shower base until the top of the tile flange aligns with the marks drawn on the studs and the front edge is contacting the rough floor along the entire length of the shower base. Ensure that the base is level in all directions.

Shower Enclosure Installation NOTICE: The shower enclosure has to be installed against finished walls and installed upon a shower base or threshold. 1 34 1. Draw a line on the wall according to your Shower Enclosure model size of 34-1/2” as measured from the finished corner to the outside edge of the Wall profiles (01). Place the Wall profiles (01) onto the Shower base or threshold against the finished wall and level them vertically. /2" 34 1/2 " 1 See Fig. 1 for details. 2 Fig. 1 2.
3. Insert the Rail connector (04) into the guide rails of the Stationary glass assembly (02). Drill a hole into the outer layer of the Rail connector (04), through the predrilled hole in the guide rails using an Ø1/8” drill bit. Fasten the top and bottom Rail connectors (04) to the guide rails with the Flat head screw ST4.2×10 screws (06). 1 4 2 5 See Fig. 3 and Fig. 4 for details. 4. Carefully align the assembled Stationary glass panels (02) onto the Shower base and insert the glass profile edges into the Wall profiles (01). See Fig. 5 for details. Fig. 5 5. Insert two Door wheels (11) into the groove of the upper guide rail, then attach the Glass door (03) to the Wheels (11) and fasten them together with the Bolts M5×8 (10). (Note that the magnetic edges of both doors will meet in the corner). 1 3 See Fig. 6 and Fig. 7 for details.
Fig. 7 6. If necessary, adjust the Glass doors (03) for smooth operation using the slot in the rail. Do any final adjustments of the assembled unit within the Wall profiles (01) and make certain that the bottom rail is tight to the threshold. From inside the shower, drill holes into the first layer of the Wall Profile and the Glass profile (Fig 8.2) using an Ø1/8” drill bit. ATTENTION: Do not drill the profile throughout, only through the first layer of the wall profile.
7. Use a good quality mildew-resistant silicone to seal all the connections between the wall profiles and the wall, bottom guide rail and the shower base.
