Installation Guide

COOLDOME™ HEATER KIT # KT-CDHT by Dotworkz, Inc.
This Kit Contains:
• (1) Heater Bracket with Orange Strip Heater, and inline Thermostat
• Fasteners: (4 )#6-32 hex nuts, & (2) zip ties
• This Quick Install Guide
1) Older COOLDOME models have bare Cooler as shown in figure 1, and are ready to install heater
2 &3) Newer COOLDOME models have a Black Circuit Cover Bracket that must be removed. Remove four #6 nuts and remove cover to ready Heater install.
4 & 5) Install Heater Bracket over Cooler Cold Sink with wire leads from heater oriented to back of D2, and the four #6 threaded studs aligning with holes.
6) Install provided four #6 hex Nuts on fan retainer studs, tighten gently with 5/16” nut driver..
7-9) Install two heater wires are (non-polarity specific) to PCB terminals, but be sure one is on a (+) terminal, and other is a negative (-) terminal printed on PCB
10 -12Use Provided Cable Wire Zip to secure Thermostat to wires, keeping away from heater or cooler components to sense air temperature in housing, keeping
away from PCB, hinge & seals, so as to keep clear of closing surfaces. Point metal face of thermostat toward inside of housing to best sense air temperature
