Nur wenn Sie die Anweisungen befolgen, können Sie optimal die volle Funktionsvielfalt des Gerätes genießen.

Halten Sie diese Taste gedrückt, um das Menü aufzurufen. MODE Drücken Sie diese Taste um den Empfangsmodus FM oder DAB/DAB+ auszuwählen. SCAN Startet einen Sendersuchlauf. ALARM Über diese Funktion können Sie einen Alarm programmieren. PRESET Ruft gespeicherte Radiostationen auf POWER Drücken Sie diese Taste, um das Gerät einoder auszuschalten.
4. ABBILDUNGEN 12. 13. 14. Kopfhörer Anschluss Schließen Sie hier bei Bedarf einen Kopfhörer an. Das Anschließen eines Kopfhörers schaltet den Laut sprecher stumm. 5 Volt Ladeanschluss Verbinden Sie hier das im Lieferumfang enthaltene USB Ladekabel.
5. ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME Laden des Gerätes Vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme empfehlen wir, das Gerät für D ca. 2 Stunden aufzuladen. Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach und legen Sie den Akku ein. Verbinden Sie das Gerät mit dem im Lieferumfang enthaltenen USB Ladekabel mit einer USB Stromversorgung, z.B. an einem PC, an einem USB Ladegerät oder an einem Notebook. Sobald die Stromversorgung hergestellt ist, startet der Ladevorgang. Im Standby Modus wird die Dauer des Ladevorgangs angezeigt.
6. BEDIENUNG 6.1. Display Information D Das Display zeigt Ihnen folgende Informationen: 3 1 4 5 2 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Name des aktuell eingestellten Radiosenders. In der unteren Zeile stehen Ihnen verschiedene Informationen zu Verfügung, die Sie mit Hilfe der INFO Taste abrufen können. Bitte lesen Sie dazu auch Kapitel 6.9. Empfangsmodus DAB+ oder FM Dieses Symbol wird angezeigt, wenn die Tastensperre aktiviert ist. Bitte lesen Sie dazu auch Kapitel 6.8. Dieses Symbol zeigt den Akku - Ladestand an.
6. BEDIENUNG D 6.2. Senderauswahl Über die Navigationstasten 10 können Sie einen im DAB+ Suchlauf gefundenen Radiosender auswählen. Drücken Sie nach links und den vorherigen Sender anzuwählen. Drücken Sie nach rechts um den nächsten Sender auszuwählen. Hinweis: Die Anordnung der Sender erfolgt entweder in der Reihenfolge der im Suchlauf gefundenen Stationen, oder nach alphabetischer Reihenfolge. Diese Sortierung können Sie wie folgt vornehmen. Halten Sie die Taste INFO MENU für ca. 2 Sekunden gedrückt.
6. BEDIENUNG 6.4. Wechsel der Empfangsart Um zwischen der Empfangsart UKW und DAB+ zu wechseln drücken Sie die MODE Taste. (2) Das Gerät schaltet damit zwischen dem analogen FM Empfang und DAB + Empfang um. 6.5. FM/DAB Programme Suche Um eine Suche nach UKW Programmen zu starten, wechseln Sie in den UKW Modus, wie in Kapitel 6.4 beschrieben. Drücken Sie die SCAN Taste (3) um den Suchlauf zu starten. Das Gerät sucht nun den nächsten empfangbaren Sender im Frequenzbereich.
6. BEDIENUNG wechseln Sie in den DAB Modus, wie in Kapitel 6.4 beschrieben. D Drücken Sie die SCAN Taste (3) um den Suchlauf zu starten. Das Gerät sucht nun alle verfügbaren DAB Radiostionen. Sobald der Suchlauf abgeschlossen ist, können Sie die verfügbaren DAB Sender wie in Kapitel 6.2 beschrieben auswählen. 6.6. Favoritenliste anlegen Sie können sowohl im analogen FM Empfang als auch im digitalen DAB+ Betrieb Radiosender in einer Favoritenliste abspeichern.
6. BEDIENUNG Das Programm ist nun gespeichert Es stehen sowohl im DAB+ Modus als auch im FM Modus jeweils 10 Speicherplätze zur Verfügung. 6.7. Favoritensender aufrufen Um einen Favoritensender aufzurufen drücken Sie im laufenden Betrieb die PRESET Taste (5). Wählen Sie mit den Navigationstasten (10) einen Programmplatz aus. Bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit der Taste Taste SELECT (9). 6.8.
6. BEDIENUNG D 6.9. Radioinformationen aufrufen Drücken Sie im laufenden Betrieb die Taste INFO MENU. Um weitere Informationen abzurufen, drücken Sie die Taste erneut. Es stehen Ihnen Informationen zu Genre, Frequenz, Bitrate, Name des Senders zur Verfügung. 6.10. Alarm Das Gerät kann als Radiowecker eingesetzt werden. Sie können 2 verschiedene Weckzeiten einrichten. Außerdem kann eingestellt werden, ob der Wecker im Alarmfall mit einem Ton, einer DAB+ Radiostation oder mit einer UKW (FM) Station weckt.

BEDIENUNG ALARM MODE Wählen Sie mit den Navigationstasten (10) im nächsten Schritt, ob das Gerät werktags (Weekdays), an Wochenenden (Weekends), einmalig (Once) oder täglich (Daily) den Alarm auslösen soll. Drücken Sie SELECT. ALARM TYPE Wählen Sie einen Alarmtyp den Navigationstasten (10) aus. Sie haben die Wahl zwischen 2 verschiedenen Alarmtönen, FM oder DAB+. Drücken Sie SELECT. ALARM VOLUME Stellen Sie mit Hilfe der Navigationstasten (10) die Alarmlautstärke ein.
6. BEDIENUNG D 6.11. Factory Reset / Werkseinstellung Sie können alle Einstellungen, die Sie an dem Radio vorgenommen haben, mit der Werkseinstellung in den ursprünglichen Zustand zurücksetzen. Dies ist dann nützlich, wenn Sie Änderungen vorgenommen haben, die anschließend zu einer nicht optimalen Funktion des Gerätes führen sollten. Halten Sie die Taste INFO MENU für ca. 2 Sekunden gedrückt. Wechseln Sie mit den Navigationstasten (10) zum Menüpunkt und bestätigen Sie mit SELECT.

8. ENTSORGUNGSHINWEIS Die Verpackung Ihres Gerätes besteht ausschließlich aus wiederverwertbaren Materialien. Bitte führen Sie diese entsprechend sortiert wieder dem “Dualen D System” zu. Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden, sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden. 1. INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing the DABMAN 12. When you use the DABMAN 12 for the first time, please read these instructions carefully, and retain them for reference in future. You will be able to fully enjoy the many functions of the radio E only if you follow the instructions. This operating manual will assist you with the • correct • safe • optimal use of the IMPERIAL DABMAN 12. We assume the user of the radio has general knowledge related to the operation of consumer electronics products.

5. FIRST INSTALLATION Charging the device We recommed to charge the device for about 2 hours before starting the first time. Please insertt the rechageable battery fist. Please use the charging cable included in delivery content E and connect the radio to any kind of USB power supply like PC, Notebook or USB charger. Once connected to an USB power supply, the charging process starts automatically. Please pull out the antenna on full length before turning on the device.
6. OPEARATION 6.1. Display Information The display shows the following information: 3 1 4 5 2 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Name of current selected radio station. In this row the display shows several informations, available by pressing the INFO key. Please read chapter 6.9 for further information. Reception mode DAB+ or FM reception. This symbol is active when the keylock is enabled. Please read chapter 6.8 also. Shows the charging status of battery.
6. OPERATION 6.2. Station selection E By using the Navigation keys (10) you can select a DAB/ DAB+ radio station, found in channel search. Press the navigation button left to select a previous station. Press the navigatin key right to select the next radio station. Please note: You have 2 options to set the order of radio stations. 1. Alphabetical order 2. Ensemble order. The order of radio stations can be set as following: Hold the INFO key pressed for 2 seconds.
6. OPERATION 6.4 Change the radio mode With this radio you can receive radio channels broadcasted in FM or digital radio DAB/DAB+. In order to change the radio mode press the MODE key (2). 6.5 Searching FM/DAB radio stations In order to search analogue FM radio stations, please switch to FM reception mode, like shown in chapter 6.4. Press the SCAN key (3) to start the channel search. The device starts searching the next available radio station. The automatic search will stop once found a new radio station.
6. OPERATION Press the SCAN key (3) to start the channel search. The device starts searching for available DAB / DAB+ radio stations. As soon as the search is complete, you can select the DAB E radio stations as discribed in chapter 6.2. 6.6 Creating a favorite list The radio offers a favorite list for FM radio stations as well as for DAB/DAB+ radio stations, which allows to store up to 10 radio stations.
6. OPERATION 6.7. Call up a favorite radio station To call up a radio station, stored in the favorite list, please press the PRESET key (5) in normal operation. Select a station by using the Navigation keys (10). Confirm your selection with the SELECT key (9). 6.8. Activate key lock You have the possiblity to set a key lock, which allows to lock all keys in order to avoid an unwanted operation. Please press the SELECT key (9) and hold this key pressed for about 5 seconds.
6. OPERATION 6.9. Call up radio information E To call up detailed information about a current running radio broadcast press the INFO MENU key (1). Press this key again to display further information. In DAB you can call up information about genre, frequency, bitrate and the name of radio station. 6.10. Alarm The device can be used as radio alarm clock. You can set up to 2 different alarm times. To set up the device as radio alarm clock, please proceed as follows: Press the ALARM key (4).
6. OPERATION ALARM MODE In this menu you can select wether the device shall alarm weekdays, on weekends, once, or daily by using the Navigation keys (10). Press SELECT to confirm. ALARM TYPE In this menu, you can select the alarm type using the Navigation keys (10). You have the choice between 2 different alarm sounds, FM radio or DAB/DAB+ radio. Press SELECT to confirm. ALARM VOLUME Choose the ALARM VOLUME by using the Navigation keys (10). Press SELECT finish the Alarm setting.
6. OPERATION 6.11. Factory Reset E In this menu item you can reset the radio to the condition it was in when supplied by the factory. This option can be usefull, when you have any kind of troubles or malfunction with the device. In this case please hold the INFO MENU key pressed for about 2 seconds. Select the menu and confirm with SELECT. Please go to in the following confirmation message by using the Navigation key right.
