WARNING: To reduce the risk of injury, user

before operating product. This quick start guide
is not a substitute for reading the manual. The
manual contains detailed information and
instructions that the user must be aware of and
follow in order to maintain the product
properly and use it safely.
WARNING: Battery acid leakage can cause
personal injury and cause damage to the
product and surrounding property. If battery
leakage occurs, thoroughly wash any affected
skin, making sure to keep battery acid away
from eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Immediately
wash any clothing or other surface that comes
in contact with leaked battery acid. If a
chemical burn occurs or if irritation persists,
seek medical attention. Dispose according to
Local, State or Federal regulations.
Batteries are to be inserted following the
polarity markings on the product.
NEVER mix old and new batteries or different
brands of batteries. Replace all batteries at the
same time.
NEVER mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc),
rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries with
this product.
NEVER dispose of batteries in fire, as they may
leak and explode.
Promptly remove exhausted batteries from
product.
Remove batteries before extended storage.

x2 Velcro strips (1 hook, 1 loop)
x1 Alcohol pad
Install Batteries (Fig. B-D)
Use a #1 or smaller Phillips screwdriver (not
included) to open and install (3) AA batteries.
Put cover back on and tighten the screws.
Surface Preparations (Fig. E-F)
Use alcohol pad to clean mounting location
on the compressor platform and back of the
Air Compressor Monitoring Device.
Secure Velcro Strips (Fig. G-H)
Attach one velcro strip to back of the Air
Compressor Monitoring Device. Attach other
velcro strip to the compressor.
Surface Installation (Fig. I)
Mount Air Compressor Monitoring Device
firmly by matching and firmly pressing velcro
pieces together.
Download and Install the APP (Fig. J)
On a smart phone or tablet go to Google Play
Store™ or Apple App Store™. When searching
on the app store, ‘DEWALT Air Compressor
Monitoring System will be listed as text along-
side the icon
. Install the App.
Open the APP on Phone (Fig. J-K)
Press Air Compressor Monitoring System App
icon . Then press
ADD COMPRESSOR
.
Input Compressor Information (Fig. L)
Press
ADD NEW
.
Then either select a pre-loaded
DEWALT model number, or enter your own
model number, and fill in all the fields.
Turn on the Air Compressor
Monitoring Device (Fig. M-N)
Once Air Compressor Monitoring Device is on
the compressor, press and hold power button
for 6 seconds. Blue/red LED light flashes when
in pairing mode.
Pair Device (Fig. O-P)
Press
PAIR DEVICE
on the App. When the
“Discovering button appears, press it.
When the
ADD
button appears at the bottom
of the screen, press it. Setup is complete.
Troubleshooting
If no device is found:
Make sure phone or tablet is within 30 feet
of the Air Compressor Monitoring Device
while pairing.
Air Compressor Monitoring System Pairing
Mode may have timed out. If LED light
is no longer flashing red/blue, press and
hold power button for 6 seconds to put Air
Compressor Monitoring Device back into
Pairing Mode.
Note: Air Compressor Monitoring Device
should be flashing red/blue if in Pairing Mode
Make sure there are batteries in the Air
Compressor Monitoring Device.
Make sure you did not connect the Air
Compressor Monitoring System through the
“Bluetooth” setting on your phone, it must
be connected through the Air Compressor
Monitoring System application only. If your
app and Air Compressor Monitoring Device
stop interacting, check for system updates
on your IOS or Android phone.
Check Air Compressor Monitoring System
App occasionally for updates to the App.
