CE4 TAGGER QUICK START-UP GUIDE
Powering CE4 Tagger ON/OFF
Power CE4 Tagger ON
1. Press key.
2. System name (e.g. DriftShot) displayed.
3. Software release version number
displayed.
4. The GPS time set window displayed
accompanied by acknowledgement tone
(displayed if GPS reception is available).
5. Disclaimer notice displayed.
6. Acknowledge disclaimer by pressing the OK Soft Key.
7. Enter password when prompted. (If enabled)
Power CE4 Tagger OFF
Press and hold and keys to power OFF the Tagger.
Tagger Menu Navigation
• The Yellow arrows on the keypad
are the Navigation keys used to
navigate during actions where it is
required to move Left, Right, Up or
Down in an active screen.
• In certain screens, the Up and Down
Navigation Keys will also increase
and decrease values.
• The Numerical keys are used to
enter numerical values and to select
a function from the list of commands
or menus.
• Use Soft Keys to select soft menu options.
• Use key to confirm an instruction.
• Use key to cancel an instruction.
LED’s (Illuminates to visually signal change)
Status LED: Blue circular LED ( ) indicates status of the Tagger.
Charge LED: White Swirl shaped LED indicates Tagger charging.
Error LED: Red triangular LED ( ) indicates an error present.
Audio Tones
The CE4 Tagger speaker produces different audio tones and provides
audible feedback as follows:
• A specific audio sample is played during the boot-up process;
• A positive acknowledgement sound accompanies successful
tasks;
• An error acknowledgement sound accompanies errors or
automatic power-off after a software timeout;
• An informational sound accompanies other noteworthy events to
draw the user’s attention to the screen.
Vibration Signals
The CE4 Tagger produces vibration alert signals to indicate error
events.
Real Time Clock (RTC) Function
• The CE4 Tagger contains an internal Real Time Clock (RTC),
used for log keeping.
• Manually confirm/set the time-zone on the CE4 Tagger.
• Time is automatically updated via the internal GPS.
