transducer technology, the AH-D7000 features real mahogany wood

housings that are custom-crafted for superior acoustical performance.

The elegant and comfortable over-the-ear design assures hours of

listening comfort, aided by the lightweight Duralumin headband,

along with soft leather ear pads and headband cover. Denon's

exclusive Acoustic Optimizer technology equalizes the sound pressure

in front of and behind the Micro ber driver diaphragm for the most

neutral and uncolored tonal balance. The elegant mahogany housings

feature piano grade satin sheen  nish with magnesium  ttings.

The same sort of high-grade natural mahogany with superior acoustic characteristics that is used

to make guitars has been used for the AH-D7000's housing. To ensure the highest-quality sound,

Denon engineers have analyzed a full range of aspects from the shape of the housing and its

thickness to the  nal  nishing used on pianos.

The cable covering is made of Elastomer to guard against touch noise and other types of sound

distortion caused by vibration. This tangle-free material also makes the cable easy to use.
