USER’S GUIDE MANUAL. 1. INTRODUCTION Congratulations on your purchase of a Deltacom Eagle eye pager. This user’s guide Manual Explains how easy it is to use a Eagle eye pager. 2. OPERATING YOUR PAGER Chain Ring Mode button Select button 3. CONTROLS Mode( ) Button : Turn pager on, turn the back light on/off, enter the function menu. Delete and lock messages. 6. TURNING YOUR PAGER ON Press ( ) Button for 2 seconds to turn your pager on. Your pager gives an alert sound. α After displaying the power-up screen. The time of day, day of week and an alert indicator are shown on the standby screen. 7. RECEIVING AND READING MESSAGES Your eagle eye pager can receive up to twenty 20-character messages. When a message is received, the pager alerts for eight seconds. Press any button to stop the alert.
χ Press ( ) button to select alert menu SOUND1, SOUND2, SOUND3, SOUND4, SOUND5, SOUND6, SOUND7, SOUND OFF is displayed. 10. SETTING THE TIME Press ( ) button for two seconds to enter the function menu. α Press ( ) button to scroll the function menu until "TIME?" is displayed. β Press ( ) button for two seconds to set the day of the week. The day blinks. χ Press ( ) button to change the day. δ Press ( ) button for two seconds to switch to the hour. The hour blinks.
12. PROTECTING (SAVING) MESSAGES. Press ( ) button for two seconds, while reading your messages. The "CLEAR?3 is displayed. α Press ( ) button to protect your messages. The ( ) icon indicates that your message is protected. β Press ( ) button twice to return to the standby screen. χ Press ( ) button for two second to remove the protection, while reading your messages. The "CLEAR?3 is displayed and the( )icon is removed from screen. δ Press ( ) button twice to return to the standby screen.
χ Memory retention : All messages remain in memory, even when the pager is off. δ Message erase : Messages can be erased all at once or selectively at your choice to free space in memory. ε Automatic alert reset : Your pager alerts automatically, stop when any button is pressed. φ Alarm : This alarm can be set to alert you. The alarm works even when the pager is off. γ Remainder alert : The pager chirps or vibrates every two minutes until you read all unread messages.
