Battery Caution

! Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.

! Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer.

! Keep the battery away from fire. Do not dispose in fire.

! Do not expose the battery pack to direct sunlight.

! Contact local environmental agencies for information on recycling and disposal

plans in your area. Discard used batteries according to the manufacturer’s

instructions.

! Do not directly connect (short circuit) the positive (+) and the negative (-)

terminals. Never attempt to disassemble the battery pack.

! Do not use a battery charger or AC adapter other than the designated one provided

with your notebook to charge the battery pack.

Follow these guidelines in order to prevent damage to the notebook, and/or harm to

the user. Mishandling the battery may cause it to explode.

MODEM Caution The equipment has been approved in accordance with Council Decision 98/482/EC for pan-European single terminal connection to the public switched telephone network (PSTN). However, due to differences between the individual PSTNs provided in different countries, the approval does not, of itself, give an unconditional assurance of successful operation on every PSTN network termination point. In the event of problem, you should contact your equipment supplier in the first instance.
