1 Set up your XPS 13 9305 NOTE: The images in this document may differ from your computer, depending on the computer configuration you ordered. 1. Connect the power adapter to the Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type-C) port with Power Delivery (Primary power source) on the left side of the computer. Then, press the power button on your computer to turn it on. NOTE: The battery may go into power-saving mode during shipment to conserve charge on the battery.

Solid amber—Battery charge is low or critical. Off—Battery is fully charged. NOTE: On certain computer models, the power and battery-status light are also used for diagnostics.
